Media Ophthalmologist Exposes Tom Aspinall "Stop Lying Tom"

Pretty funny how debates devolve into... "Are you a doctor or some stupid forum poster? I trust the one with a degree in it!". Then someone posts an opposing view by an expert and it's immediate questioning credentials, yet the opposing party was ridiculed for questioning the 1st experts.

No one ever knows anything besides the person actually going through it, and even he has incentive to be as hurt as possible to look better. So no one knows anything and no side is really right. Time will tell the truth eventually so everyone needs to hang in there.

This thread is the gift that will continue giving.

Just wait.

A real eye doctor signed off on Tom's surgery, but It's tricky because when you have money, you can pay doctors to push a certain narrative. It doesn't necessarily mean that's what objectively happened.

Which is why you need outside expertise to provide a full picture.

Right now, what this korean ophthalmologist says seems to be true, Tom got Lasik surgery.

Browns Syndrome and all the eye issues he was claimed to have, are not treated with Lasik.

He took photos with red eyes to make It seem like he just finished some serious and potentially crippling eye surgery, but In reality It's a side effect of Lasik, a common surgery that has nothing to do with the eye issues he's claimed to have.

So, who knows at this point.

Well, if he's having this lasik surgery and then trying to pass it off as having something to do with his supposedly injured eyes, then it's sorta hard to believe anything he says.

Rumours are that #PowerSlap will have a women's SHW division this year, so your dream may come true my #UFCFriend

The answer is very simple. Damage control.

His aura and Image took a massive hit from this. He's trying to get the fanbase back on his side again, the majority of whom view him in a much less favorable light.

Lasik surgery is considered minor and has a relatively short perod of recovery.
It's unrelated to Browns syndrome and the other eye issues It's been claimed he suffers from.

Beyond that, only him / his team truly know.

What damage? It was a close fight in the part of the round before the egregious eye pokes. Are you arguing that those weren't severe eye pokes?

google "medical surgeries to treat brown's syndrome"

none of them are lasers.

keep drinking your xyience too and get boosted.

wait, so he has an actual serious condition? and while the doc might be right about the lasik he doesn't know about the other thing?

I think there's a lot of people that aren't actually really fans of Tom.

They just really hate Jones.

Tom plays the role of protaganist against the villain Jones In the minds of many.

That's why he's defended so feverishly, almost In a cult like sort of way.

There's nothing particularly intriguing enough about him as a fighter or personality that would warrant this, only that he's the purported answer to Jones.

To admit things that take away from his aura and merit as a fighter, would be to admit that the narrative of him being the hero to save them from the villain simply wasn't true. That they'd been fooled once again.

People have a hard time admitting that the way they see things Is deeply flawed, especially when It involves such a polarizing and widely hated figure as Jones.

That's why many double down and defend endlessly, an unconscious way to avoid the sharp and poking cognitive dissonance that eats away at them.
Makes sense. I dislike quite a lot of people, so i play both sides to egg people on and see what kinda ridiculous crap they'll say.

Hey to be fair to Yan,
he asked if he could throw the knee
and his corner yelled yes.

An often overlooked aspect of Sterling's academy award winning title run.

Someone should poll sherdog:

Would you rather...

Take Cyril's massive fingers in the eyes ?

OR

Take a knee from Yan?
