right here $80 gets you 3k likes. that's probably a drop in the bucket compared to what he spent on lawyers.
Didn't Lloyd pay for their lawyers?

Lets put the rape piece aside for just a moment. Neither of them denies leaving her in the parking garage, alone, in a state of undress, unconscious, in the middle of winter. Can you provide me with some additional information that would help me "understand" how those actions can be considered anything other than amoral?
People all attest to what a nice guy he is. They say that about serial killers too. Almost always, he was just a regular guy, if you got to know him he would never do anything wrong. Until he did. Those testimonials mean jack to me. It means more to me that the only people defending him are the people least likely to look at the situation objectively.
This is where I believe many people make large jumps of judgement against them. They feel that since both people most likely did this, then they are guilty of rape, which the jury disagreed with.
This is why the self policing of these two gentlemen is the only just way of getting retribution. Calling them rapists IMO is out of line. Using your wallet, voice, and whatever powers you have to disassociate yourselves with the two gentlemen is a much more just than slandering them by calling them rapists.
There are people on the board who are using their wallet and their voice to the IBJJF and other tournament promoters and it seems to be having the desired effect.
Agreed, even terrible people, have had people attesting to how nice they are. Really that is is meaningless.
Yeah, agreed a second time. People said Hitler was a nice guy to be around. Doesn't make him any less evil.

Not quite where I was going. My point is that the behavior they have not denied taking part in is already indefensible [even if we accept the idea that they did not commit the act of rape prior to abandoning her].
Defenders of these two cling desperately to a narrow/flawed interpretation of being found not guilty of the specific criminal charges they faced and claim that this is evidence they're actually good guys, while completely ignoring the CONFIRMED acts of inexcusable behavior that fell just outside the scope of the criminal charges. There is no reasonable scenario where a decent person abandons an incapacitated person in the condition that they did.
This. MM doesn't even have the Limp Irvin I was young and dumb "excuse." Add to the fact that this is probably him on this phone
recording. https://soundcloud.com/hexrei
Yeah, I listened to that earlier in the thread. what's he doing in that? Who's he threatening? Anyone know? And why?

A guy called Gotham Gym to let them know that he didn't support them employing someone like Maldonado. Maldonado called him back and left that message.
Wow.

and we're just taking this as 100% truth? not saying it's fake, but it's kinda funny how people question things that are in lloyds/mateo/nicks favor but anything against them it's automatically the truth
Just listen to the message, and then listen to Maldonado speak on that news interview. You don't think that's him?
Like I said, I'm sure it's just another funny coincidence surrounding this guy. Someone probably made up a computer program to sound just like him just to post a thing on Yelp that was only up for like a couple hours to frame him. Must be those damn haters again.
Get a good enough attorney, and you could probably convince a jury there's reasonable doubt there too.
Wow, the guy can't not be a scumbag for 5 seconds can he?
