ONE: DAWN OF HEROES

Horiguchi made an interview recently explaining the training differences and mind set between Japanese martial arts and western training. it was really informative how different they approach it.
Link? I feel like Horiguchi doesn't need the UFC but he didn't fight up to his ability in the UFC...He is certainly a top level talent. Coker isn't do nearly as well with Bellator as he did with Strikeforce. But the talent he amassed in SF was very impressive.

Well he did go 8-1 with his only loss being to DJ. Got even better after but still.

A lot of these guys look really talented, more so than the gatekeepers on the UFC roster. But whenever the Asian guys get to the UFC, the gatekeepers always kill them. What's holding them back?
Relative level of competition.

I was super impressed with him beating Caldwell in Rizin. Then going to a Bellator event and doing it again.

Agreed but he is a finisher. He probably didn't get the contract he wanted from Dana because he was winning decisions and we all know Dana is obsessed with finishes. Dana actually prefers fighters who win some, lose some but get finished or win by finish. IDK Dana dropped the ball.

I should not have immediately smoked weed after waking up. Oh man

So I feel asleep after the Okami fight and when I woke up I could have sworn that there is a Sage Nordcutt fight on this card and now I wonder if I have sinned in my sleep.

The second fight he really outclassed Caldwell. I could be wrong but Caldwell may have won a round in the first fight it seemed closer.

that sounds interesting and worth a watch. do you have a link?

Does anyone have faith in Eddie after his absolute no show last fight. I mean he can only do better.

Dont remember the first fight too well, but he might have been in danger before winning?
