ONE: DAWN OF HEROES

Banario needs to let the hands go Park gets the headkick up quick but he doesn't want to trade in the pocket at all. Park's gameplan is working either all the way out or going for a TD/cllinching. Easier said then done Park circles well on the outside and has quick feet. That TD likely cemented the victory for Park.

A lot of these guys look really talented, more so than the gatekeepers on the UFC roster. But whenever the Asian guys get to the UFC, the gatekeepers always kill them. What's holding them back?

Agreed for prelims there has been a lot of talented fighters who are well rounded.

Wish I could've attended this event. Literally stay about 20 minutes away from the arena :(

I got Yuya by TKO via being able to mix it up with Mighty Mouse for awhile.

I had to switch my VPN on to watch on B/R Live as it's blocked in Canada when the Youtube feed went.

This is anecdotal but when I was in Korea, there were gyms everywhere but they all seemed like were training MMA in 2005. They were almost entirely focused on BJJ with "kickboxing" added as an afterthought and almost no wrestling. If not BJJ, then most of the gyms still were heavily focused on just one martial art, compete in that martial art purely, and have weak training in the other arts. I think these guys are talented but not training as modern mixed martial artists.

BR Live won't show ONE in Canada apparently. Is there a way to watch the main card?

Maybe that's why they appear so talented. Some fighters have shown good wrestling instincts. For example level changes at the right moment but there may be a gap in wrestling still. As opposed to the wrestlers who are "gatekeepers" in the UFC.

Waka Waka Waka:meow: Him hanging with MM even if it was just one round and giving MM some problems made me a fan. He has skills.

Horiguchi made an interview recently explaining the training differences and mind set between Japanese martial arts and western training. it was really informative how different they approach it.

Bleacher Report needs to be more respectful to our Canadian neighbors.
