This is not necessarily true, as it varies from state to state. In PA, simply wearing that type of attire is not considered electioneering. Here’s a PA source saying this way back in 2008.It's not just "improper," it is an infraction, and it speaks to how little these people actually gave a shit about a legitimate process. Even voters are not permitted to wear political gear at polling places.
