Stalin at the end could be reasoned with. If Hitler didnt have his head up his narrow ass and listened to his generals, he may have killed way more. Way, way more. The guy wanted to outright eradicate races. There was no reasoning with him.

Let's not forget our economic woes started before this apparent "trade war". Not a fan of the tariffs, but our country was in shambles to begin with, so yeah we’re more like a chick that’s been abused in our own house for about a decade, and now the neighbour walked by and gave us a smack too, just a drop in the ocean by now.

I voted for Trudeau at least once. I am not sure how many elections have happened in the last ten years, I am quite sure I voted Green one year, but I am quite sure in the last election I voted Liberal. Having said that though, personal experience, I've really prospered over the last ten years. Bought a house, renovated it to be what I now consider to be a home, got rid of all household debt minus our mortgage (vehicle, student loans), and even are in the process of having our mortgage paid by 2027 (25 year mortgage paid in 11 years). And most importantly, we had our first daughter last year. Life has been pretty god damn good for me, so of course I'm gonna keep voting for the guy.

That said, the negativity surrounding Trudeau the last couple years had me ready to move on. I didn't see it and wasn't experiencing it personally, but clearly the majority of people had had enough. I don't think a Conservative govt would have offered much different anyway, so fuck it, let's see how it goes. I would not have voted for PP but if he wins he wins... And then Trump became president. And now especially today I saw so many people blowing Trudeau for his speech and some even saying they'd vote for him again if this was the man they had the last ten years and I was just like oh just fuck off already lol. I also solely see anti Mark Carney ads on streaming now and they are doing fuck all to influence people it seems. What are we doing here folks? What does anyone want anymore??
