Notice some Console/Platform Game Pass games that are only available on that service don't appear, either. There's a reason for this. Most games on PSNow can't even be downloaded to the console. They must be cloud-streamed.

Notice I don’t care about PS4 titles when discussing what games are coming for the PS5. When you have nothing relevant coming soon for your console then I guess it becomes massively important.

I think it's already been said but yea the series X might be headed for the worst console launch in history when it comes to games. I can't think of any console launch that was so barren. Angry Joe was talking about it as well it's the worst I've ever seen.

Right but now you’re arguing semantics about confirmed and PS Now and why they shouldn’t included when they’ve already been announced as a PS+ service.

It’s a wasteland for a while. I’ve kept the same stance, XSX could be great...in two to three years.

Thought it was just me and the lack of gaming I do now. The lineup is fairly laughable to me, but like I said, I thought it was just how I changed. Apparently not

The last one took four years to make and there were massive shutdowns this year. This is a next-gen God of War. They showed a logo.. They're trying to sell a new console. I can see them "delaying" it sometime next year.

I agree. The only real argument I can think of it possibly releasing is they are probably reusing so many assets and systems from the previous game that they don't have to build from scratch.

The last game was a new gaming build and engine that played totally different from all the other GOW games. This sequel should play like the last one so a good chunk of their coding is set. They're probably re-using a bunch of stuff so they're not building from scratch. Making the next game should theoretically take a lot less time.

They can easily make a 2021 release date.

Nope it's pretty well known. The cancelation of Halo had to have been a hard decision for them. Will see if it ends up being the right one.

Doubt it. I'm sure they would have said it during the announcement. They also didn't announcement Demon Souls was a launch title though so I don't really know what Sony is doing.

The only reason I doubt it will be a 2021 release date is that during the announcement they showed absolutely nothing. Not one piece of footage. Unless they are trying to save it for another event right before consoles release it just seems odd to do that unless the game is just not even close to ready. Maybe end of 2021

They also had several areas designed that they had to leave on the cutting room floor. A lot was ready to go for the sequel.

Could be delayed like any title but 2021 isn’t some fantastical number.
