Which means PCs and parts of similar specs are going to have a HUGE price drop around the time of the XSX's release, if not before it.
Sounds like WiiU naming confusion to me, will surely affect any casuals they want to bring back from their 360 days
I strongly doubt it.Which means PCs and parts of similar specs are going to have a HUGE price drop around the time of the XSX's release, if not before it.
Yes. Obviously they're going to continue with the same strategy we saw this generation with the Xbox One S and Xbox One X.So does "Series" imply there will be a series of consoles released?
I wonder if I should buy the OG Day 1 Series X or wait for the more powerful Series X2 or w/e.
I abbreviated it to the XSX (which in the context of the above if they're sensible) will one day be XSX1, XSX2, etc, in these sorts of online discussions. So it’s gonna go by the Xbox X?
Jesus

Hopefully they have games this time around. It's kind of the main purpose of a gaming console.
They're trying. Sony absolutely hit it out of the park with PS4 exclusives, though. I might switch to Sony for the first time ever if the Xbox launch lineup or future road map isn't that great. They've certainly made the right moves in order to do that but will see what happens. At this point I see no reason to get an XBOX for myself. With a gaming PC and Sony console I'm set.
Off topic but I figure this is as good a place as any to ask:
Can I transfer my saved game files from my 360 to my One?
I want to finish my play through of Assassin’s Creed III (that I’ve had on the go for like 6 or 7 years) but I’d rather play it on my One (that I’ve owned for two years and never played) than my 360 (which I haven’t played in four years).
For AC3... Don't bother lol.
That game was such a disappointment for me. Just something about the game play never clicked at all for me
Remember that Microsoft has yet to give out exact dimensions of the Xbox SX, and these images are based off of approximations made by various users.
Well I felt that way too, there’s a reason it’s taken me 7 years and counting to get through. Assassin’s Creed was one of my favourite franchises last gen, then after playing about halfway through 3 I quit
3 just didn't mesh. I was ok with the story but the game play let it down.. In particular the save points that were miles apart
I largely didn’t care for the setting. I’m not American, so I didn’t find the colonial setting all that appealing compared to Renaissance Italy for the Ezio games or crusader era Middle East from the first one.
