RBR ***Official*** Sherdog Sanctioned Paul vs Tyson 11/15 5:30PM ET ( Netflix )

they keep saying that but I just saw the whole thing, neither guy did anything. I've seen guys in their fifties on street beefs throw more than tyson did and Jake really didn't do much either. He won the rounds where nothing really happened, the rounds went by quickly because they were 2 minute rounds but I never got the feeling that Jake was carrying the guy or that he even really hurt Mike. Many here disagree with that.
Those old guys on street beefs aren't fighting people as dangerous and powerful as Jake Paul and those are also regular guys who don't have the wear and tear that Mike did on his body. Mike can't walk through an airport without being pushed in a wheelchair and he was admitted into the emergency room a couple months ago

Praying Canelo is offered enough money to get off his couch and knock Paul out. It's not like he would even need to train or anything. Assuming Paul really wants to fight him.

Netflix crashed my Fire stick all night.. By Tyson vs Paul I was having to watch it 5 minutes behind so I wouldn't lag out. :(
Yeah that's what we had to do too.

we had a big group of people together. We had to yell at everyone to not look at their phones and spoil it.

Fight sucked major ass lol. Girl fight was amazing though

Like better than any wmma fight I can recall

Part of me respects Paul for not KOing old man Tyson. As weird as that sounds.

He had many opportunities to, especially seeing how his shots were actually hurting Tyson. At his age and with his mileage a bad KO would have been very bad for Mike in the long term and Paul easily could have done that to him.

You never actually watched Boxing
I watch boxing regularly

This was a sham. Paul could have ended it at any point in the last 2 rounds.

Forget the record protection and corrupt judging for a second. The fact that circus fights like this get officially sanctioned on the regular makes boxing look unserious and whimsical

They couldn't even handle streaming this shitty boomer fantasy correctly. Embarrassing

Last couple of rounds, Paul definitely seemed to both not put himself in a position to be embarrassed by a fluke shot, and not horrify the viewing world by just busting up Tyson in a one-sided elder-abuse exhibition. I'm okay with that.

I watched out of curiosity (I saw Tyson fight as an amateur), as an age-peer of Tyson. I saw what one would expect. Tyson looked good, for an almost-60-year-old. The problem is that looking good for that age isn't good by any non-qualified standard.

The biggest thing about getting that old is your body loses the resiliency of youth (in addition to the boxing losses of just enough on reflexes to get hit a lot more, and not be able to pull the trigger). If you're pushed over a period of time, you just die. When you're younger, you can push your body into that red zone, in terms of cardio, and, eventually, with some rest, recover to something close to normal, or at least not exhaustion. When you're older, you push into the red, and your done. Your legs are completely dead weight and you need a couple days, not minutes, to recover. Normal competitive activity makes you "gas."

That's definitely what happened to Tyson. Paul played it safe for a couple rounds while keeping the pace going, and then felt comfortable engaging once he saw Tyson's legs were shot for the night.

This fight was a bigger joke than i expected. Paul could have ended Mike multiple times, but chose not to. Mike looked awful after the first minute or so. Couple that with the netflix problems, it turned into a disaster. I have fast hard wired internet and sometimes the fight wouldnt even load. I kept switching from my phone to PC to illegal sites to try to keep it going. The 2 fights prior to Tyson and the blonde ring girl was nice, but everything else was awful

Mike has been done since he came out of prison. Botha was dominating him until he got caught. Many of those fights looked fixed. Lennox Lewis fight should not have happened. January 16 1999 was date of that fight. Wow time flies.

I'll probably never watch another one of these old boxers/MMA guys vs young boxers again. That didn't even need to happen. Not even from a safety aspect because they're grown adults, but from an entertainment value. That was not entertaining. I also loved the "Oh my gosh, Mike, is this THE LAST TIME?!". Everyone's so fucking obsessed with witnessing history or putting fighters on the spot to retire in the post fight interview. He's fucking 58 years old. Why are they acting like we're all on the edge of our seats wondering if Mike Tyson is going to retire? He already retired 20 years ago. This is him just screwing around now. Too many people are pretending that are witnessing "THE GREAT MIKE TYSON". Even Roy Jones Jr wasn't sugar coating the fight.

I haven't watched it yet, but reading the posts I see nothing out of the expected happened so I am going with Ramirez vs CBS and Stipe vs Jones tonight and going to watch the circus next week
