RBR ***Official*** Sherdog Sanctioned Paul vs Tyson 11/15 5:30PM ET ( Netflix )

Who are the sponsors that covered the purse? Crypto scammers? Fentanyl smugglers? Human traffickers? No way Netflix paid them anything close to what was required to cover the costs.

I was working, but I did keep tabs on what was going on. Just hoping Mike could pull it off. From what I'm seeing, neither guy did much. I've only seen highlights and a few of the rounds. Mike came out like he always did, which was to be expected, and probably was tired after a few bullrushes. No one expected prime Tyson but I thought he could do a bit better than what I saw. As far as Jake holding back, I'll wait for him to say it before I believe it.
There were highlights?! Everyone hoped Mike could pull it off, just like they hope to win the $1B lottery.

Mike did not come out at all like he always did. Mike came out like the 58yr old legend that he is. Jake did a very classy job honoring the moment for what it was, a chance to put on a show sharing the ring with Mike Tyson.

It was very clear to anyone watching Jake held back, he could have easily KO'ed Tyson, but didn't because there was no need and it would have been a horrible look. You don't have to wait for him to say it because he did in the post fight ring interview and made it even clearer in statements after that.

he said it? Well good for him.

How can the athletic commission justify that nonsense? So what somebody bribed you for millions of dollars and you approved the fight. There needs to be an age limit put on your ability to compete either in MMA or boxing. Like 50 and that’s it. No exceptions.

I have no love for the guy, quite frankly I think he sucks. That said he carried Mike Tyson pretty much the entire fight. It was ridiculous.
ya, but he still could have carried him and used his jab more and even done more, he's just not that good. I don't really know though. I'm kinda glad it's over, I never really wanted to see him fight again 20 years ago, but I woulda loved to see him pull this out.

After a nearly 20-year hiatus from professional boxing, “Iron” Mike Tyson finally returned to the ring. Unfortunately for his millions of fans around the world, his return to the ring was anything but explosive.

Tyson was outboxed over eight, two-minute rounds by YouTube sensation Jake Paul en route to a unanimous decision loss (80-72, 79-73, 79-73) in Saturday night’s main event at AT&T Stadium in Dallas. Paul (11-1) showed little interest in trading bombs with the former heavyweight champ and used his youth and energy to outbox the 58-year-old legend.

Tyson last fought Roy Jones Jr. in an exhibition bout back in 2020, but had not fought professionally since 2005. Paul understood that he was in a lose-lose situation from the start but still managed to find the best outcome. After surviving Tyson’s advances in the first two rounds. Paul took over the fight with his jab and superior hand speed.

Tyson’s legs were shot within the first five minutes of the fight and his explosive techniques lacked the pop they carried in the 1980s. Paul maintained his distance and gave Tyson some leather, but never pressured forward for the stoppage.

While the fight was controversial from the start, millions tuned into Netflix to watch the historic bout and while being entertained by a star studded undercard. Streaming issues were constant throughout the night and fans who were hoping for a miracle were left disappointed, but what can you say: That’s boxing.

In other action, reigning undisputed women’s super lightweight champion Katie Taylor (24-1) defended her belts against seven-division world champion Amanda Serrano (47-3-1) in a 10-round war. Scorecards could’ve gone either way but Taylor went up 2-0 in her series with Serrano by a slim unanimous decision (95-94, 95-94, 95-94). WBC welterweight champion Mario Barrios (29-2-1) retained his strap by split draw (114-112, 116-110, 113-113) in his slugfest against Abel Ramos (28-6-2). Brooklyn-born featherweight phenom Bruce “Shu Shu” Carrington improved to 14-0 with a dominant unanimous decision (80-70, 80-70, 80-70) over Dana Coolwell.

Actually respect Jake, he carried Mike.
A lot of people throw that word around but i think it was pretty obvious that Jake didn't want to KO Mike in that condition.

Came here looking for just this. He could have put him away. 60 year old Mike was hobbling out there. No killer instinct by Jake, they had an agreement prior. Why anyone would pay money for Jake Paul fights is laughable.

If Mike doesn't want to retire... It's time to get that win vs Holyfield.

Try it now. It should be working

They lacked the pop they carried in 2020.
Forget the 80s

Got good sleep and watched the sparring a bit ago.

All over social media, I saw people asking where to watch this fight. Morons galore going out to watch what they can later.

I cant imagine Netflix getting much money from this, in fact, I predict cancellations from such a predictable outcome. Plus, apparently there was an outage.
