It's not bad, I had a lot of fun with it. Bosses were challenging, level design was cool and I loved the visuals. Combat was also great but somewhat suffered from having 1 op combo. You don't have to use it, but it'll always be there.
 
Meth, Dying Light 2 just got its Christmas patch. Cool loot drops from new crackhead undead and fun décor around the map, to name a couple things.

Very nice just made it to the central area of the game last night. I'm stuck in some tunnel for now before I can get to the city to check it out.

Not sure where your combat and parkour perks are at but the parkour gets very fun, especially after unlocking the wall-running (called Tic Tac) and vertical-scaling (confusingly called Wall Run) abilities – just to throw out a soft recommend.

I worry many played and dropped it before it opens up. I do feel enemy variety + ATK patterns are impoverished and that the craziest, funner mutations seem locked behind chapter missions courtesy of select NPCs rewarding mission tickets.
 
Meth, you said you tried accessing your yearly PS wrap-up? I usually access that through the PS app but couldn't find anything myself just now. This out already for you in North America?

lol take these hours with a grain of salt. My kids often hit my PS button or I leave it on and have to run after them. I’m surprised at the amount of games I’ve played though, I think many of these are small indies I tried out and either finished or just didn’t like.

I just unlocked tic tac last night and I wasn't sure if it would even be useful because I never saw a place to do it in the starting area. Then immediately on my way to the next area I found a great spot to wall run. I like how different the second area is compared to the first making the glider, wall run, etc a lot more valuable. Going survivors has really helped me travel through the city and avoid the zombies pretty easily and use my glider effectively.

I agree the more and more I play this the more fun I'm having with it. I'm actually really looking forward to The Beast title they have coming soon now. The monster variety was an issue in the first game as well even worse actually. At this point I think I'll just be pressing through the main story as I did quite a few side missions in the starting area and I'm ready to see how this wraps up. I heard the carriers guild has a side missions that is really good and like 11 missions long. So I'll do that but that's about it for me on side missions unless I find something that really sounds interesting.

Lmao at my number of games played. I’m totally addicted to finishing every campaign in PS Stars. NoI didn’t actually “play” 146 games. 20 platinums this year also. Just got my 20th last night but not listed. Put 80 hours into rebirth. Ending up finishing it last week. Great game, the Pro totally changed my opinion on it. Turns out it not being a blurry mess makes it much more enjoyable. Also helped taking a break from open world fatigue. Sometimes I got to chill with trying to platinum everything. Next game I’ll just bee line the story and then do the side stuff second playthrough

They last forever too. If you don’t complete it before the next season you can keep grinding at it
