You guys hear this story? Pretty crazy. Sony might buy Kadokawa. Probably for anime and manga even more so than video games. Apparently there’s south Korea and another in the mix. If that’s the case I want Sony to get them. I doubt they do anything exclusive exempt Bloodborne and maybe even then still not. It would just be nice to have the games come out running better on PlayStation. Also Microsoft said they want to buy more Japanese talent so breathing them to it would feel good

It's a good acquisition for Sony because like you said the get the anime and the games. It's insane how much work Sony is doing to basically monopolize Anime and no one seems to be really paying attention to it.

There's also a real opportunity here for their devs to start making some real anime games instead of the cheap shit that is thrown out every year for whatever the new popular anime is at the time.

So I’ve been tempted to pick up a Pro after seeing them in stock at my neighborhood Walmart, but I don’t want to pick one up until I get my hands on a disc drive first as my family uses the PS5 as our blu ray player, and with it being almost Christmas we’re watching a lot of Christmas classics at this time of year. Mother fucking disc drives are like impossible to find. They’re sold out on Amazon and either sold out or not even sold to begin with in stores (Walmart, Best Buy etc). FFS

So my wife asked last night if I’d be interested in a PSVR2 for Christmas as they’ve apparently got a really good sale right now (I think she said something like $480 down from $750 Canadian). I’ve never really given it any thought before, getting a VR set of any kind.

Anyone that has one, how is it? I understand that recently they released an adapter to make it compatible with PC. Has anyone tried that functionality yet? Would it work on my laptop that has an i7-12700 and a RTX 3070 Ti?
