I hope PlayStation Stars gets fixed this week. Kind of miss it lol. I know that sounds sad but I actually liked doing the different tasks and getting those collectibles. Also satisfying to see my points add up with the purchases I make. Been holding off on my Astro Bot preorder for that reason.

I'm going to make a confession. I never played a Metal Gear game. I know it's completely bizarre to say that since I've been playing on PlayStation since the OG but I just never got around to this franchise. I'm just too intimidated to get started with them at this point, there's a bunch of them isn't there?

Yeah but at heart it's a stealth shooter so not something you're unfamiliar with in the grand scheme. The series stands out because of the cinematic storytelling; it's campy but crazy-cool at the same time and not trite thanks to Hideo being...well, Hideo – he just has this panache about himself and everything he does. Have you played any Ghost Recon instalments? The gameplay isn't wildly different from that but superior in every other way. Phantom Pain (MGSV) goes on regular sale for dirt-cheap; consider picking up, maybe? You craft gear and build bases too, which I recall you liking? V Rising does the same thing with its castle builder system.

I like them for the stealth mostly. I remember #2 I got to the every end boss and it just seemed impossible. I gave up and watched the ending online. I’ve never had to do that for a game.
