Anybody increase their ps5 storage capacity? I'm thinking of going for a 2 terabyte or more, any brands or stuff I should be aware of?

Do you have slow internet? I've always found I never needed the extra storage. I play one or two games at most and once completed they get deleted and then I move onto the next. I think I have 300 or 400 GB free still

PS5 game streaming launched in Japan launched yesterday (EU next week and NA by the end of the Month), and impressions are looking very positive

Stupid question, but what does this mean exactly? Does it mean that you can stream the PS5 versions of games on PC?

I've thought about it but the default storage is working for me so for. It's just enough for the games I want. It helps that I have 1G fiber and can download most games within 15 mins.

This is pretty much what I do but it's the MP games that I play with my friends that really take up my storage. Since we play a few different games I have to have them all ready and downloaded.

You can stream PS5 games on PS Plus Premium (and certain ones you've actually purchased) to your PS5 like Xbox does with Game Pass

PS5 hardware sales (console and DualSense accessories) showing no signs of let-up, topping USA and European markets...

Elsewhere, the PS5’s DualSense controller help to drive sales of accessories during the same period alongside the Xbox Series Wireless controller.

Europe isn’t the only region where the PS5 is performing well, as Sony’s flagship console also managed to top the US hardware charts for September 2023.​

I’m actually going to say CD Projekt Red because Microsoft has close to a monopoly on Western RPGs. Sony also works closely with other devs like Guerilla and House Marque which are based in Europe as well. Seems like a good fit and Sony quality control ensures no more awful day one releases.

New Phantom Blade Zero info from an IGN interview

Set in a fantasy version of Ming Dynasty China
Steampunk, cyberpunk, dark fantasy, horror and other influences
Combat is meant to seamlessly blend combos, into stealth, into aerial combat.
Main weapons are your blade and your 'shachi' (essentially a special weapon)
Main weapon blades can have different lengths and weights which affect your movement. Dual blades also featured.
Shachi weapons; canons, lances, axes, big hammers to break shields, and more
Semi-open world with multiple hand-crafted maps to explore
'Tons of exploration' between encounters with dungeons, side quests, NPCs, and powerful weapons/items
Collect new gear and skills via secret chests and bosses in the world
Playable demo coming in 2024 (sounds like a closed/private demo where you will have to apply for an invite)

Media Molecule is laying off 15-20 % of its staff off

Sports Illustrated‘s GLHF says the studio held an internal meeting today and told staff that it planned to lay off around 20 of its 135 employees.

The news comes a month after Media Molecule ended support for Dreams, which was released in early access in April 2019 before officially launching in February 2020.

And also its claimed that long time SIE Exec Connie Booth is gone but its unclear if she left on her own accord or she was fired / laid off
