I've also recently read a DLC or .5 instalment is in the works at SM for GoW Ragnarök. Both of these news bites are uninspiring to me so I hope neither or only one realises. TLoU 2 looks fine and better than 99% of current games. Pointless. And SM should make a full-blown new game (new backdrop and pantheon; outside Nordics) or look to an exciting new property with all the in-house talent they have. My two pence.
I skimmed through and read that as DMC .5 lol I was like I'm sure Devil May Cry 5 had a special edition but id play the hell out of more content. I think it's time for some caffeine lol.

After checking out Sony Core offering, I’m good with it. We got about 120 films in Nordic app; some I haven’t seen like Brad Pitt’s Fury so will be watching.

Not a bad start, IMO, but they need keep adding to catalogue to include bangers if they want to justify Premium sub. It feels like the tier has no identity right now whereas Extra feels solid and knows its lane.

Elden Ring is almost 40% off right now if anyone never jumped in. 100s of hours of adventure for the price.

I’m really impressed with Lords of the Fallen 2023 launch support in the PS Store. They have itemised video clips on display for story, gameplay, preview, and release trailers plus select concept artwork (I actually often screengrab these for cool PS Profile backgrounds). I wish every game had the staging LoTF 2023 has. Wonderful. Preordered.

I sucked ass at bloodborne , was scared to try elden ring, . I got destroyed in that Returnal game also .

Some insight from Daniel Ahmed / Zhuge

What's interesting, is that unlike with Xbox where the all digital Series S is >50% of sell through, the PS5 digital version accounts for <20% of sell through. Although in both cases adoption rates were partially driven by production choices and constraints. The new digital version, with the option to buy and attach a disc drive, might encourage additional sales due to that psychological factor, even with the $50 price increase. That being said, I believe this is more indicative of Sony's current thinking around its approach for next gen. If the new digital edition does gain traction and we see a continued trajectory of increased digital software sell through, then I wouldn't be surprised if Sony makes digital + disc drive add on the default option for next gen.

I'm a grizzled Soulsborne vet and, man, Returnal pushed my sh*t in. Real talk. I would hold Returnal to its own unique pile of horrors. Elden Ring is actually more a co-op adventure in concept and design; some guys might be miffed by that opinion but I feel pretty strongly about it. It's a good Miyazakian title to jump into for the reason help is everywhere if you can't solo something (while the art direction + storytelling remains masterly and uniquely FromS/w).

Yeah they have 3D Audio Capabilities

PS5 Game Cloud streaming launches this month for PS Plus Premium
https://blog.playstation.com/2023/1...s-month-for-playstation-plus-premium-members/

Since launching the all-new PlayStation Plus more than a year ago, we've seen such high engagement from our fans on our offerings – from the quality titles offered in the Game Catalog like Horizon Forbidden West and Sea of Stars, to new trophy features we've added to classic games like Legend of Dragoon and Syphon Filter.

Today we have more details to share about PS5 cloud streaming for PlayStation Plus Premium members. Starting this month, we will begin launching cloud streaming access for supported PS5 digital titles within the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog* and Game Trials*, as well as supported titles in the PS5 game library that PlayStation Plus Premium members own.

PS5 cloud streaming is exclusively available on the PS5 console at launch. Without having to download a game, players can access PS5 game streaming with their PlayStation Plus Premium membership. Additionally, PlayStation Plus Premium members will also see features available with the new PS5 streaming benefit, including:

Downloadable content and in-game purchases will be available for PS5 game streaming, including DLC and add-ons – similar to purchases from downloadable games.

High quality resolution options**, including 4K, 1440p, 1080p, and 720p, with 60 FPS and SDR or HDR output.

Enhanced audio with support for all PS5 audio capabilities including 5.1 and 7.1 as well as Tempest 3D Audiotech.

Capture screenshots and record up to 3 minutes of video, which will be downloaded to your Media Gallery on PS5 and also available in the Media Gallery on PS App

Select PS5 games will be available for streaming, and we're planning to have hundreds of PS5 titles to support this new benefit. This includes: ● Top PS5 hits from the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog*, such as Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Horizon Forbidden West, Ghost of Tsushima, Mortal Kombat 11, and Saints Row IV ● Game Trials* for PS5 games, such as The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, and The Calisto Protocol ● Additional PS5 digital titles PlayStation Plus Premium members own that will be available for streaming, such as Resident Evil 4, Dead Island 2, Genshin Impact, Fall Guys, and Fortnite Since this will be a large undertaking for our teams to roll out, we plan to launch regionally through a phased approach. Here are the launch dates we are currently targeting in local times: ● Japan – targeting October 17 ● Europe – targeting October 23 ● North America – targeting October 30 Cloud streaming through PlayStation Plus Premium is currently available in Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Republic of Cyprus, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, and United States.

Work, unfortunately. I'm free from 15th so 5 days before the game's release. I also downloaded Aliens: Dark Descent and didn't get to try it much, but they it's very good.
