Oh that sounds interesting. I think MOBA games can really be done better than what they are now. There was a MOBA game on PS4 that was different and third person instead of top down. Unfortunately it was made by Epic and Fortnite blew up so they abandoned it. I think it's coming back under a different company though. I forget the name.

I like the overall idea of MOBAs but I hate click to move. Smite is pretty good.

Funny story about Marathon. It was one of the hottest game available on PC/Mac during my freshman year of college. Everyone who gamed had tried or played marathon. Played it pretty hardcore for the first semester and then moved onto other games (Warcraft 2 and others). Sometime during the third semester (Co-op/trimester school) I get a message on my PC challenging me to Marathon. I was like "WTF?" why are you challenging me in particular. He responded you are a ranked Marathon player in the school and I am trying to take your spot. I was like WAAA??? He told me to goto this kid's server to check the top 20 list and I found myself being ranked #4. I got destroyed immediately and the owner of the list messaged not long after and challenged me as well. I told him sure but i don't play anymore. He also kicked my ass and then immediately dropped me off the list. He did say that when I did play back then I gave him problems and it was a shame i had stopped. lol.

This game is a trip. I've watched the trailer a few times and I have no idea what is going on. The breathing into the microphone is an interesting concept. Will keep my eyes on it.

I had a game like that as a kid with my cousin called Infantry zone. They had a mode similar to BR modes now except it was king of the hill. Everyone started with a crown on their head and the last one with a crown was the winner. You lose your crown after 1 death but you can get it back by killing two people with a crown.

Me and my cousin were gods in that game. We would destroy people and got to the point that the minute we got onto the server we were bombarded with messages from people wanting to team up. Unfortunately I think Sony purchased the company and the game changed drastically to the point we had no interest in it anymore.

Real shame it releases between two major AAA JRPGs. Relink and Rebirth I’ve both been looking forward to for a long time. You getting this day one?

Think so. I like everything I'm seeing and the new preorder trailer won me over; will throw up below for those who missed it. I like to balance SP and MP play so this looks like a perfect game to offset whatever SP journey I'm on at time of launch.

I can’t remember where I saw it but there’s a photo of the chocobo looking confused and the other party members looking at Red and he says “what?” as in what you all looking at? Looks like they know how absurd it is and will make a funny scene. They know what they’re doing. The banter has been great, especially between Barret and Red in the first one
