How much , I kinda want the earbuds

Edit: 150 for elite headphones 200 for earbuds. Hmm decision time
I can personally recommend the new Sony INZONE buds. I have them and love them. Comfort + meaty audio. Only negative is when inserting into ear for any session, you hotmic by default so need do a two-second tap to mute; easy stuff (no clunky buttons; cool design) but just something to remember.

Fun review here; comes in white and black – I went white.

Looks great. Is it better to pla in a group? If so is is eas enough to find players to fill out a team?
Dude, I heard across the board this game solo is a disemboweller; group play recommended.

I have too many games to play right now but not sure I can hold out much longer and not pick this up. Feels like it set the gamerverse aflame. I'll say it again: Sony brings the Midas touch.

What's the problem here?

(US dates)
PS launch - Sep 1995
PS2 launch - Oct 2000 (5 year gap)
PS3 launch - Mar 2007 (6+ year gap)
PS4 launch - Nov 2013 (6+ year gap)
PS5 launch - Nov 2020 (7 year gap)

It's been a bit more than 3 years since PS5 launch and the wording was entering the latter stage. It could be another 4 years till we get a PS6.
The gaps between console have generally increased over the years. Not by much but it hasn't shortened.

If you haven't bought a PS5 now you don't really care about all the various enhancements that much and can hold out for a PS6 in 3-4 years.

Not necessarily, plenty of people buy a console once they’ve been out for a few years and start to drop in price, then keep it until the next gen does the same.

Sure there are those as well. It doesn't change the fact the time in between console launch has been more or the same if not longer since PS2 (around 6-7 year gap).

On all-new Pulse Elite:

The PlayStation Pulse Elite headphones are well-priced and comfortable, with great audio quality and excellent bonus features making them worthy of the "elite" moniker.

Hardware and shrinking market share.

3.5ghz in November of 2020 was laughably slow for a new gaming Pc CPU. Today CPU's are breaching 6ghz. For context the Steam Deck uses a similar CPU to the PS5.

Rumors of an Astrobot coming to PS5 this year. Really hope it’s true. Playroom is my 2nd favorite PS5 game after Returnal

I’d love more Astrobot. The question I have is it going to be for PS5, or PSVR2? All the astrobot games are tech showcases, so I wouldn’t be surprised to see them go that route (which for me would be a bummer as I don’t have PSVR2.

It will probably be both if I had to guess and I think it would be the right call. I’ve always felt like AstroBot could be Sonys Mario but it needs to reach more people. The quality is there but so far they’ve been niche title. I think it will be built for the PS5 but owning a PSVR2 will probably be the best way to play it. Of course there’s also a chance it’s not even built for VR. I think that would be Sony admitting psvr2 is dead and I hope that won’t be the case. Either way it will be a great game I’m sure .

Consoles have never kept up with PC in terms of power and speed. The PS5 is roughly equivalent to a 2080 RTX and how much are those going for still these days? How much were they at launch back in 2018, and later on in 2019 and 2020 when COVID hit and the video card market was at an all time high? It takes 3-4 years to start planning to build a console so back in 2016/2017 they started looking into it. You think you could have developed/built a PS5 with that power and manufacture/sell it for less than $500 ($400 without the disc drive) during that timeframe?
