Had a bunch of time with it this morning and got it dialed in and it feels a lot better. Main problem was the controllers didn't have enough charge to go through the initial set up, so it was just me messing around with the head straps right before bed. Once I got them juiced up and I walked through the set up and adjusted it, it felt much better.

Played Horizon for about an hour and I'm blown away. I was worried that I would get motion sickness, as I've been hit with it messing around with cheap VR apps on my old Galaxy phone with the Galaxy VR. But read that higher the refresh rate the less motion sickness you get. It felt a little bizarre during the intro on the boat where your character is moving, I felt like I had the sensation of drifting away. But once I started walking around it got better.

I do felt a little uneasy when I use the analog to control turning rather than looking with my head. It's just a weird sensation when mixing head movement with analog stick movement.

Color me impressed with Horizon. Daughter played Break Stuff and it's about as good as I would expect for the $10 price tag. Fun little time waster. GT7 looks amazing, so might break down and get that even though I don't typically like racers. Might pick RE8 and give it a go on the VR. Played it a bunch on PC, but seems like a good showcase for the VR.
Glad you got it figured out. Was starting to think maybe you had a weird shaped face lol.

Yes bro I'm on the ps5 I posted the pics of the ps5 and the controllers with the custom skins I made through midjourney.
Ah, I remember now. Excellent stuff. I recall us still having some PS4 cats so wanted to see who since had upgraded. If PS5 Pro looming, was thinking it smart to wait a little now before pulling trigger.

Looks like theres another beta code invite but this time its for PS5 game streaming only and isnt shareable

Quantum Error has gone gold for PS5 version, TeamKill announces.

Big trailer in the works, developer adds, to prepare for launch. Apparently principal developers' father (brothers) was a firefighter and the game having been written in his honor with the hardest difficulty also being called Fire Chief. Your role of course in QE is a firefighter answering a distress call off the Californian coast at an illegal research facility. That's when SHTF.

Incredible month for me. I’ve had both Cursed to Golf and Midnight Fight Express on my wishlist. Then there’s Sea of Stars and Moving Out 2 which are both day one releases. One is an rpg I’ve been looking forward to and the other will be fun with my wife even if those games get stressful. Also curious to try source of madness and two point hospital for a bit. I get a lot of people don’t get excited about indies but if you do there’s quite a bit to be excited about this month

Yeah so this dude is just a straight up moron who obviously just made a statement like this to get clicks. IGN has been getting worse and worse, it’s all about engagement with them and they don’t care how they do it. PSVR2 had well over 100 titles and there’s usually a pretty good game released for it weekly. Synapse came out last month which I’ve only heard good things about and August had a bunch of new titles too including an anticipated first person shooter. They’ve lacked big first party support thus far but are still only been out 5 months.

DF with a retrospective on The Order. I liked it for what it was. Also had no idea it ran at 60 on the PS5. It’s a short enough experience that I might give it a play through again soon.

He's also a very big Xbox fanboy

It only runs at 60 here due to a hack by Illusion, the one who did the bloodborne 1080/60 ps5 hack recently.

I still think it looks great though

The Order still holds up and is a super game. Was surprised it never got a sequel – conspiracy, ancient order, lycanthropy, dapper attire, steampunk weaponry...I mean, how many erections can a dude ask for? I think the quality of visuals will shock many who've never played it.

it didn't sell well plus being rather short, and the developer was bought out by Oculus

That's a shame it didn't sell well. Had no idea at the time. Very pretty game with original story and solid gameplay.

Atlas Fallen not scoring that great… probably going to wait for a sale. Guess I’ll just wait for armored core and and play some games on PS extra. Really been wanting to try rogue legacy 2 and Soulstice so maybe it’s for the best

I noticed you didn't say anything about remnant 2. Can you please explain why?

Lost interest when I learned that there’s a massive focus on multiplayer and makes soloing really unfair. I don’t have the time to die over and over anymore. I want something that’s challenging but fair but most importantly balanced correctly for solo play

I've been playing solo all along though...

At the last world actually.
