Media Official poster for Dariush vs Tsarukyan

Great FN but 1 of these maincard fights is not like the other 5 lol. Doubt Dolidze stays on the card at this point. Paulo was asking for a fight for 296, do him vs Dolidze for 297 instead.

Looks like an ad for gas station boner pills

My gut reaction was to be dismissive about this comment but after staring at it a second time I was like...

Yeah Soriano vs Stoltzfus has little to no significance but it should be a fun fight.

I'm surprised Stoltzfus is still here lol I thought UFC would've released him by now.

Holy fuck that Main Card is stacked for a Fight Night compared to a lot of what the UFC has been throwing our way lately.

Agreed, though. Dustin/Puna being up there is just weird. IMO one of the Lightweight bouts should be up there instead. Klose and Solecki are both legitimate Top 30/Top 25ish guys who could theoretically get a ranked opponent (or something close) with a win. Or hell, just throw Guida/Silva up there for all I care. Doesn't have the same kind of divisional implications, but Guida is a vet while Silva has been around the block for a while (not to mention his stock just went up with that performance against Tsarukyan) -- and both are fun to watch win or lose.

He won his "loser goes home" fight against Dwight Grant... and was rewarded by being sacrificed to Abus in brutal fashion. I half-expected him to be cut after that since the UFC got what they wanted, but I'm wondering if any number of things are true:
  • He got a new multi-fight contract after beating Grant and upon agreeing to fight Abus, so the UFC is honoring that and "repaying him" for the latter while milking him for what he's worth in the meantime.
  • They're keeping him around because cutting him prematurely reflects poorly on their two "projects" in Pyfer and Abus. Dustin technically holds a fairly recent stoppage win over Joe who the UFC is pushing hard, so if he washes out of the UFC right away that's no good. Likewise, I imagine they want to rebuild Abus at some level and cutting his only win on the UFC roster might look bad.

Reminds me of Saved by the Bell or a bag of potato chips. These are made by AI now right? That's the only way to describe this artistic void.
