I'm digging Takashi Miike mode. Love the extra violence, the camera will make or break it though so I'll have to go back and forth to see which mode is preferable.
Ghost of Tsushima blew me away. Everyone I've talked to about GoT loved it as well, even friends that don't typically play this sort of game. There were so many memorable moments that I think about even years later. It's still hard to believe how fast load times were on a base PS4.
The epilogue stands out as one of the best I've experienced in a game. I gave a standing ovation as the credits started to roll on screen, and a single tear started to roll down my cheek. Needless to say, despite not watching any previews, teasers or trailers, I'm ALL the way in for Yotei. October can't come soon enough!

Mine just got drift. Dropped it on the tile floor again. Being cheap and not buying a wireless headset has cost me more money than I care to think about right now.Anyone buying the controller? I held off on buying any other controllers this year because I knew they'd do something like this. I'm thinking the gold color.
So in other words yea I'm thinking of getting this. Going with black though.

What’s up with the comment sections everywhere for this game? Seeing a lot of people saying they’re not buying it because of the main character, more specifically the voice actress. Just weird how this was never an issue for anything else. Mark Ruffalo and Chris Evans post politics all the time on X and Twitter back in the day and nobody ever said “I’m not watching avengers because of them.” Was hoping to see more positivity from the community because I think it looks really good.

Have not seen this myself but will only play this game the same way I'd played Tsushima: in Japanese. It was an absolute delight. I'm sure the VA will be great, just like in its predecessor. Does SP use different VAs for English and Japanese?

A portion of the online community has turned extremely toxic. I wont even enter discussions about intergalactic. They tried to do the same thing to AC Shadows and it's still the top 3 selling game for the year.

Not sure but probably different. Not sure how good her Japanese is even though she is one. Think she’s more Americanized. I’m playing with English because my eyes want to be on the beautiful landscapes and action sequences rather than the subtitles. I just can’t do subtitles unless it’s an RPG

Ah, makes sense, especially with the gorgeous art direction on display. All entertainment programmes are subtitled for us in Nordics so it's second nature to both read and watch, which is probably why it's homier for me to see subtitling than without.
Glad they went Americanised Japanese. Tired in general of English-voiced games being in a posh King's English when no in-game char is from Blighty herself. They do this in film of course, too. Always reckoned it nonsense.

Yeah it's kind of weird how there's been outrage surrounding two games set in Japan. I think there's a certain group of people that want every game to be a gooner game. Stellar Blade was fun but that type of character would be very out of place set hundreds of years ago. Jin Sakai was just a normal looking dude too, and yet nobody was upset with that.

Same pathetic bitches as usual. In their retarded little brains it's weird that a damaged and broken woman who is out for blood, isn't wearing makeup nor is dressed like she's going out to a nightclub.
With that said, the game looks fucking awesome and will buy on day one.

Nice. I usually prefer smaller/faster weapons in games, but those look fun.
