I really enjoy this game, even after 4 months or so. One thing that adds tremendous depth is learning to quickly swap weapons and talismans in the middle of combat. This is especially popular among the better PvP players, but even in single-player it can be valuable to, for example, swap to the feathered talismans (red and blue) when low on health, as they massively increase attack and defense when low on health.

I'd say my favorite weapon overall would be the Guardian Swordspear, the r1 moveset is very satisfying (it is only shared by 1 other weapon, Loretta's Halberd).

I've never even heard of the Guardian Swordspear. It's classified as a halberd apparently? And it's good for PVE?

GinoMachino did. Took him over 9 hours i think. Was watching the last part of the stream when he did it. Almost got ruined by Soldier Of Godrick at the end which was funny.
 
All my saves got wiped and I had to reinstall Elden Ring.

I tried all night last night to beat the Magma Worm and get the Moonlight Katana. Can't beat the Worm anymore. I beat this guy the first try like 5 times on different characters. My skills have deteriorated. Now I can't even get his health halfway. Before I used to blow right thru this boss.

Sorry to hear that, friend. Same thing happened to me and losing everything nearly stopped me from playing entirely. I'm glad i started again, though.

Stay strong, persevere and claim the title of Elden Lord.

For some reason Elden Ring is the only game that works after my Xbox wigged out the other day. Nothing else will install.

I'm going to buy a new Xbox but in the meantime, I'm going to play Elden Ring.

I'm going to try to get that Katana and if I can't, I'm going to play my colossal sword character. I'm going to use that Grafted Great Sword.

Now he's back to fist only. He finished any% a few months ago so now he's doing all the other bosses. The fights are all 1-6 hours long. What a madman.
 
I've taken nearly a year off from Elden Ring and I think I am ready to dip my toes back in! As far as single player content goes, have there been any drastic changes since ~last summer?
