I'm saving the runes I come across and only using them when I absolutely need to.

So far I have:
1 = 99 + 6
2 = 25
3 = 31
4 = 27
5 = 16
6 = 17
7 = 4
8 = 2
9 = 12
10 = 6
11 = 1
12 = 2
1 Lords Rune

I can't believe I'm doing a Brick Hammer run <{MingNope}>

Changed to it for one of the Crystalian bosses and just decided to stick with it since I'm already doing a strength build. I'm having so much fun on this playthrough and have been exploring areas I ignored initially. Also doing as many questlines as possible.

Got my ass kicked by Godskin Fatty in Volcano Manor. I've read sleep pots work so I'm off to farm some. Got him to phase 2 but his roll of doom keeps getting me. Haven't done Stormveil yet so I haven't unlocked the bird farm yet. Probably going to have to level up some if this doesn't work.

Well I finished my Brick Hammer playthrough. What a beast of a weapon. I haven't used a blunt damage weapon since DS2 with the Smelter Hammers. Felt like reuniting with an old friend haha. Only real downside to it is the range but that's not a deal breaker by any means.
I ended up farming for a Battle Hammer in Leyndell only to use it twice and switch back to Brick.
Tried out the Grafted Blade Greatsword as well. Not a big fan of colossal swords but it fit the build I had.

Is Bloodhound Fang worth dual weilding? Thinking about getting a second for this character.

Started a new magic build last night. Never did any magic on my first game. Any suggestions or tips? So far it's kind of a pain in the ass that your magic flasks don't refill like your health flasks and switching between flasks during battle is sort of annoying.

Early game is the roughest part. I'd head over to Caelid and get the Meteorite Staff and Rock Sling. That will carry you for awhile. Late game I used the Carian Regal Scepter for trash and Lustats for bosses.
Great Glintstone Shard is your spam spell and Azure Comet makes a lot of bosses melt really fast.

I just defeated Godrick the Grafted with the Astrologer... Lost 15-20, waited 2 days, & beat 1st try.

Steam Deck makes Elden Ring all the better.

I'm still using rock sling later in the game, as my go-to spell. I like how it tracks the enemy instead of being easily dodged. With bosses I like to get in early with the dragon/rot and then sling rocks from a distance. I beat the fire giant last night so getting near the end of the game. It's been slow going but still loving it.

Grinded up to 115. Going to knock out the Academy and Start Rannis Quest. Probably look up what caves I need to do for Bell Bearings as well. Going to play around with some different weapons and see what fun stuff I can get up to.
