This is the giant on the little horsey right? When you can summon everyone? That was probably the funnest boss fight ive ever had.
Seriously, that fight was a load of fun just summoning everyone and duking it out. Bad part is you don’t really have to strategize like other bosses. But it is so much fun as a team fight.

I get why they nerfed him, but they overnerfed him. They also need to give Morgott an HP increase patch. Great fight but man he goes down too fast.

Finally made it to Altus Plateau, touring around killing things, ended up crossing a bridge into Mt Gelmar. Noped out rather quickly when I saw all those Virgin Abductors. Got invited to Volcano Manor. Holy shit is that place cool.

Im wondering if i fought him AFTER he was nerfed. First time seeing him, i died immediately.

He's still pretty tough even after the nerfs. If i remember right some of the nerfs were rolled back such as his damage and health being restored but his hitboxes were tidied up and the tracking of his gravity arrows and meteors are more forgiving.

I'm at Radahn now. I must be about halfway through by now looking at the map and greyed out zones, right?
I'm about 60 hours in now. I like to clear most of the map although I'm sure I must have missed things, that's okay. I kind of suck at these games, so I'm sure much better players go through it much faster lol

So far I'm liking it a lot, but I can't say I'm head over heels by it either. The open world is cool and all but somewhat hit or miss. I would so far still rank it below Bloodborne, Sekiro and DSIII. Still a great game though so that ain't saying much and I haven't finished it yet so who knows!

Astel the voidman was very easy, died on second attempt. That Lake of Rot area leading up to the boss was simply horrid. Dragon fite after the elevator was stupid dragon fight and then there are more copy paste smaller dragons that do all the same stuff with same damage as the big dragon, is the artisanal japanese gamecrafting or what?!

Black Knife Ringleader Alec was a fun, enjoyable fight.

The Lannisters send their regards to Radahn. He started all cool and intimidating, but he went out like a huge bitch haha

Figured I’d drop this here.

Recently picked up this print by an insanely talented artist named Christian Angel.

He does tons of Souls work and the prints are cheap. I paid $15 for an 8x11. Check out his stuff below:

At the capital now, wandering around aimlessly, feeling lost. Felt pretty lonely with 2 pots left with no grace on sight and good 25 minutes from last grace.
edit. First Elden Lord and Morgot died on second and first attempts, pretty weak.

Volcano Manor I really liked, probably the best zone so far, nice atmosphere, compact, pretty straightforward, Atlas Plateau was good too. Gelmir I did not like at all though, fking ladders.

Radahn was 1/3 through for me.

Morgott fight drives me nuts. Such a good boss fight and they gave him the HP of a regular build up boss. Dude should have had double the HP he has.

Will the DLC be a separate game or a continuation of our current game? I beat every boss and was thinking about starting NG+ but am worried that the DLC will come out and I won't be able to access it until I get near the end of the game again.

Will some tunnel open in the Elden Beast area after he's dead, or will I be able to go to the DLC from the main menu?

From’s approach to DLC in the Soulsborne series has been to have the DLC just be a separate geographical location that can be accessed almost at any time, with its own enemies and bosses, that are usually a lot tougher than anything in the base game. How they would integrate that into Elden Ring’s open world is sort of anybody’s guess. Maybe you’ll get on a boat to some island or something, or go through a time portal. Who knows? We’ll have to wait and see.

Why is a regular jumping, frost spewing cat statue in Giants Mountaintop Catacombs much harder than the big boss with cinematics that I killed on the first try 30 min of playtime ago? Fk this game is stupid at times.

One of the youtube clips I saw a while ago - well before the initial DLC announcement - speculated about an area in the middle of the map which is 'clouded over'. It was basically in the centre point of all the towers where you activate your great runes. My ps5 and games are in storage so I can't be more detailed, sorry.

Edit - just had a quick look online. So directly to the east of The divine tower of Liurnia there is a cloud which is also directly north of The divine tower of Limgrave.

Well I quess you cant have too many good zones back to back. God damn this snow place sucks, it is horrible, and so was the fire giant boss. Absolute garbage.

Wouldn't go so far as to call it garbage but the snowy giant mountains was easily my least favorite area in the game. In fact one of my few complaints about this game was that I thought it peaked with Stormveil castle and while I enjoyed the game tremendously it never reached that height again for me. I was so hyped when I beat the castle and looked over the cliffs down into Liurnia but it was honestly downhill from there (no pun intended).

I regret googling where to find other half of a medallion that I found in the snow place. I am at an another snow place that sucks even more. I just cannot comprehend why did they take one of the worst bosses I have fought so far in Astel and copy pasterino'd it to another dungeon.
