Edit to add.... This is my new sword. Same moves as Grafted Greatsword but with magic explosions from what I can tell so far.

Sadly i was never able to get into this game.
This is the from FS game i have not yet finished. Maybe i should push through, but i really did not enjoy the open world and i hope they will never go this route again.

Did you make it to Eternal City of Darkness or Volcano Manor? Those places are pretty cool. Caelid is one of my favorite areas.

The one thing they forgot to put in the game is upgrades and level ups and armor for Torrent. To me, he looks like a donkey with horns. The bad guys who use horses all have huge badass looking horses.

Just beat Godskin

Fat guy in volcano manor. 1 try. I used the mimic tear and wrecked him in like 15 seconds if that. Radahn armor, Fallingbeast Jaw, times 2. Dropped him as well.

When I call my mimic, he just spams the magic attack over and over. The one that comes with the Fallingstar Beast Jaw.

Volcano Manor is my favorite spot so far. I wish there were more bad guys.

There's so many little alleyways and jumps and pathways that lead you to whole new massive areas completely different than the area you were just in. You'll think there's nothing there until you find a drop or jump that leads you to a whole new area with different badguys and it's own boss.

The way they designed the world in this game is like a ball of yarn. There is shit everywhere.

I still don't know what the plot of the game is outside of becoming an Elden God.

I highly recommend checking out Vaati's lore videos but just beware of spoilers. Maybe watch them after your first playthrough.

Haligtree was such a love / hate. It felt like a gauntlet. I loved the aesthetic but it just felt like too much was going on. Really cramped and really difficult.

Yeah I just skipped the annoying revenants (?) down the bottom. As a caster they were just an absolute pain in the arse. Trying to keep some distance and then they just disappear and respawn behind and smash you with poison. It's been a bit of a grind so skipping a few things near the end isn't a big deal I guess.

The design of the entire game is incredible. Such a vast world with hidden spaces everywhere. I was struggling working out where to go and what to do I ended up following Fightin cowboys walkthrough. Has made the game much less of a chore.

There's a big tooter who can drop the toot spirit ashes though. If you want to go toot army.

I've just been running with the mimic and oleg. Might have to go back and get tiche.

I killed Rykard

First time I thought I killed him then he showed his human face. I grabbed the Serpent Hunter but used my greatsword. He killed me.

Second time I used Serpent Hunter and he killed me.

3rd try I went and upgraded Serpent Hunter to level 6 and called my mimic for the fight. I just kept hitting R2. Stay on him because he tries to run.

This Serpent Hunter is going to get maxed out. It's a badass looking spear. I want to run a knight with heavy armor and shield with Serpent Hunter weapon.

Currently cheesing the Black Kindred. I figured out a way.

Black Flame Kindred. I sneak up on him from the church, blast him with my Starbeast Jaw's laser, then run to the back left of the church and duck. Wait till his attention is off you and he walks back to his spot.

This took like an hour. My Beast Jaw was hitting 500 damage. Dude has a ton of health. He's immune to the Ruins Greatsword. It's laser does 0 damage for some reason.
