Super excited for the DLC, From Software usually does a better job with them than the main game imo. Elden Ring wasn't my favorite as I stated here many times but I still really like it, enough to go back to it for this.

Man, i just woke up, i went on YT while still a bit dazed and i see two recommended ''x reacts to Elden Ring DLC announcement'' videos. I thought i was still sleeping, while my heart started doing cartwheels.

I've been playing the game a lot lately, and i realized how much i rushed through my first playthrough. Goal: kill every boss, while not paying attention to the story and the lore, or to the npc's, or to the characters. I'm enjoying the hell out of it and this DLC announcement has me incredibly hyped. I really, really hope Miquella is a big part of it.

That's definitely Miquella. I really hope he doesn't turn out to be some ''you thought these guys were bad, well, get a load of this guy''. I honestly would prefer not fighting him and him being a more benevolent version of Ranni to him being another boss to slay.

Considering you fight and kill his sister I doubt he will be some benevolent Ranni. Will see what From does though.

You're probably right, but i really hope From hasn't worked on this for more than a year (and it'll probably be 18 months from the game's release) to simply release a ''I'm Miquella, you killed my sister, prepare to die!'' DLC.

Also, when we ''kill'' Malenia, she leaves a bloom behind her, and considering she became a goddess after blooming 3 times, i'm not quite sure she's dead. What i'm trying to say is, expect a 3 phase Malenia+Miquella boss fight! <Lmaoo>

Could also see a situation where Miquella wants us to help put his sister to rest. Maybe even after becoming a god she is still "tortured" in some way. I never understood the whole story on that though so I could be talking out my ass.

Since my main character is on ng+4 with a build that has been nerfed, and no more respec items, I may just have to do another playthrough
