Out of curiosity... what's the highest item level you guys have seen? I've only seen up to 818 (a yellow crossbow) so far.
Found this monster from a vendor.

Damn, nice rolls. I don't even look at vendors, might have to start.
Finished campaign. They really brought the cutscenes at the end like others have mentioned. But far too much in engine stuff. Didn't like the focus of the ending.
Breezed through the capstone dungeon.
Shifted to tier 3 and was lucky enough to have a world boss spawn within 10 minutes. Got a staff that increased my damage by 900 as a drop.
Waltzed through my first nightmare dungeon which makes me think I've built a pretty good sorceress.
Almost every drop is a 'sacred' but I see nothing special about them.
Did a weeping willow tree quest. Got nothing special.
Started a new character. Rogue. Was meh. Started a druid. Was meh.
Gonna drop back down to two and find the rest of the statues with my main. Used a map like you guys recommended.
Did a helltide. Wasted most of my time trying to solo helltide assassin. If I'd had one other person we would have gotten it. How do you know if it's a mystery crate? All of the ones were labeled for certain armor or rings. I got doodly.Nice.
Both Rogue and Druid are great, but you do have to invest the time to really see what they can do.
At your level, to get the best gear/XP/materials I'd recommend running through helltide events at WT3. Find a random group and just start wrecking stuff, get as many cinders as possible and buy the mystery chests. At a minimum you'll get a lot of materials and gold for upgrades, best case you'll get a lot of useful legendaries.
I found a group recently and we did just that- managed to score 4 mystery chests and a weapon chest with all the cinders I earned. The gainz were sick.

I did manage to solo the Helltide Assassin, on WT4 no less.
It was in fact a waste of time.
as @Striderxdj said mystery boxes will not show on map, best bet is to use a map that shows the random spawn points- they are static in the sense that there are only a few locations where they can show up but they will not always appear on each run. I believe they cycle every half hour too.
Anyway if you get lucky and/or efficient you can score multiples in one helltide run. They do drop the best gear out of all the chests and I believe they always drop at least 3 legendaries each time.
I use this map
https://www.gamerguides.com/diablo-...lltide-mystery-chest-location-map-and-details
If I see a helltide start in a region I'll start off by going to one of the possible mystery chest locations, killing mobs along the way to get cinders. If it doesn't spawn at that point, I keep moving to the next possible point, repeat until I find one. If I don't have enough cinders I'll mark it on my map then stay close and fight mobs until I get enough then go collect it.
At the 30 minute mark I really do believe the locations get shuffled around, so one of the locations I searched earlier for a chest that didn't have one may have a chest there after the 30 minute mark.
In any event, it's fun to team up randomly with folks on the map and tackle the events that come up.

Congrats... bored to death of the game yet?
Game is fun but there is almost no chance of ever finding upgrades to my gear, point in fact its really stupid that if you get lucky you can find 800+ gear at the start of torment (although only weapon/offhand seem to care about Ilvl's above 725, the armor difference is relatively inconsequential when you're either immortal or die to one shots) and with lucky rolls you may never upgrade that slot.
I also have some achievements left to do as I've played pretty much 100% solo (all my friends are much lower level) such as uber lilith and T75/T100 Nightmare dungeon master. I can probably solo T75 if I go slow and clear sections while cooldowns refresh, but from what I've seen online there is 0 chance I'm clearing T100 or Uber Lilith solo, at least as an Arc Lash Sorc.
I'm certainly not playing a different class before the season starts either, I'll probably just log in to help friends level up.
How many hours do you estimate you spent so far to get to 77?Yeah, I'm intending on levelling a new toon with a friend once the season starts, probably a barb.
I'm 77 I think and finding all the content pretty easy on a bone spear necro. I haven't done a nightmare dungeon over lvl 24 as that's the highest that I have been able to access so far. Hopefully some higher lvl ones drop soon.
Lvl 100 seems a loooong way away.
I have a lvl 800 two hander currently which is great and a lvl 805 which is better itemised for single target damage but I need the enchant for it to drop on something as the ones I have are garbage.
How many hours do you estimate you spent so far to get to 77?
Cheers. I’ve got it for xbox but not launched into it yet because it’s gonna be a huge time sink …Um... a lot. No idea honestly.
I really took my time with the story and did many of the side quests before I even finished up the main storyline. Since hitting World Tier 3 and Tier 4, it has gone up fairly quickly as I've been mainly just doing helltides and nightmare dungeons.
Helltides seem to be putting it up about half a level in the one hour so that's nice... but at this rate, it'll probably take me another month to hit lvl 100.
Cheers. I’ve got it for xbox but not launched into it yet because it’s gonna be a huge time sink …
Oh yeah, MASSIVE time sink. If you want to level to 100, I assume, it will take you a couple of hundred hours to do it.
There is just so much content, you'll certainly get your money worth.
It certainly didn't take me a couple hundred hours to get to 100, 99-100 alone took me 21 T40-T50 Nightmare dungeons and I could clear 3-5 of them each elixir (so 6-10 an hour). previous levels I was doing pretty much the same tier content but earning considerably more experience, and that was entirely solo so if you group you'll level even faster.
