Question for others playing this game... has anyone maxed out rep with all the areas on the map yet?

Also anyone tagged all the Lilith altars yet?

I've maxed out three areas with the last two close behind. I probably have about 30 Lilith altars to go... goddamn it's turned into a grind to get it all done... but nearly there.

Got distracted with this so haven't gotten around to even doing the capstone and moving to WT4 yet.

I finished all renown yesterday. It's a massive grind but the Paragon points are truly worth it. Especially if you get some glyphs that are good for your build, Paragon is so friggin yummy dude

Yeah, totally worth it and you only have to do it once, with the benefits flowing to any new characters you may make but very time consuming and kind of boring.

Did you find all the altars?

I did. I have to warn you, all signs indicate that when Season 1 starts, you will have to acquire renown again. It's bullshit, but Blizzard is doing it. Thankfully, you will not have to get the Altars again. But the paragon points will be taken away.

I'm level 66 now. Tier 4 is immensely difficult in my opinion.

Picked this up yesterday. Loved diablo 3. Continued on as a necro as that was my favorite in Diablo 3. Got to level 18 last night, playing campgsin on wt2. I’ve heard if you beat campaign it Will carry over to you seasons character

Around what level do you recommend taking on the WT3 capstone dungeon?

I'm at level 57 and finding WT3 easy- I went into a nightmare dungeon with "12 revives allowed" and I used precisely 0. Not even that, I was so effective against the boss I finished it at full health with all my potions and I didn't even use the potions he dropped.

Most of the rare and legendary gear gets sold or scrapped. Need some more challenge, more power.

It depends on your class and your gear. As a necro, I was smashing every bit of WT3 stuff I saw including not dying once in about 20 nightmare dungeons so far... then I tried the capstone about lvl 64 and kept getting one shotted by the elites.

I stuck with it but I found out when it apparently bugged on the first time I got one shotted and respawned me in the wrong area. I cleared everything out but it was apparently in the wrong order as when it got to collecting ossified essence from elites to go through a door, they were already dead... thanks Blizzard.

I had been completely ignoring survivability up till that point as it wasn't a problem. I think when I try again tomorrow, I might change around some enchants to try and keep me alive longer.

Oh well. I don't see me starting new characters over and over to do the seasonal thing anyway.

I got all the altars and just need 145 more rep in my last faction... so glad I never have to go looking for more altars again.

I'm looking forward to trying WT4... I kind of rage quit after clearing out everything in the capstone only to have it bug and being unable to clear it.

Which class were you playing?

As long as you aren't hardcore, just try it out now. I did it at 55 on a bone spear necro, but I had to run away from everything and just drop overwhelming damage. All the animus elites and the boss have 1 shot potential until you have more life in the 60s or enough immunities to ignore stuff.

If you get through early though, most of the good items in wt4 are minimum level 60.

dont waste your time on wt2 the 20% exp isnt worth the slower rate of killing etc ... most people just do wt1 then go straight to wt3 at like 45+ i did it on 3 toons so far its by far the fastest way

Oh thanks for the tip. I just went to WT2 because at WT1 everything just “pops” and there’s no combat cause they die so fast I don’t even get a good combo or two off.

already kinda running into the same thing on wt2 at around level 35. I’ve found the key to enjoying Diablo for me is to keep my progress going but to not prioritize the speed of progress over enjoying it

Man, when you combine amplify damage, Iron Maiden and the army of the dead ultimate attack you really fucking smack around every creature in existence. That AOE damage is bananas. Toss a couple bone spears on top and it’s like a meat grinder. You can just kite the shit out of mobs and keep lining em up

Put splintering aspect on a 2h sword with crit damage, watch bone spear get nuts.

got an ancestral gohrs. not a huge upgrade over my sacred one. still havent got a +3 to whirlwind to roll but at least the explosion damage is better with this one

wt3 is the most enjoyable imo feels the most balanced. don’t feel bad grinding early levels on WT1 but it gets pretty boring quickly if you aren’t grinding for something specific. the loot and XP are so much better at WT3 it’s not even funny
