Got to say the game is starting to overstay its welcome. Lvl 49. Act 3. Basically stopped exploring to do the story. We had that amazing cutscene to open the game and now it has been an all in engine mehfest. The dungeons are all very samey - forks that all lead to the same spot- and the story isn't that compelling. It was, but now it isn't. <sadface>

it’s a grindy game. the post-campaign stuff, without spoiling, is the most fun. that said, you are still doing the same thing over and over pretty much.

To be fair, it’s Diablo. It’s kinda of what you’re getting with these games. The mobs and the combat mechanics take center stage over the dungeon design and story.

Tougher? It's easy as shit so far. That's my main criticism really.

I'm lvl 65 and the largest bone spear I've seen is over 260k damage. It's probably higher but I wasn't specifically looking.

What changes in WT4?
Yeah I had a buddy that was telling me he was struggling with his necro and I kind of gave em one of those side eyes like “really bro?”

to be fair, it was absurdly easy in D3 lol

Is don't remember getting bored of 2 or 3. Shrugs.

These nightmare dungeon affixes are brutal and not in a good way. Some of them are completely retarded and add no value other than making an already barren end game even more tedious to slog through.

Finally got the crones staff to go Stormwolf i dont have a tempest roar helm yet but i do have the mad wolfs chest Maxroll has a pretty good guide ... I was pulverize werebear and it was fun seeing like 15 mobs die at once but being resource starved 24/7 was boring ... Werewolf is super fast and tanky // once i get a tempest roar i can switch to tornado wolf and coast to 100 its nuts

i think i had one the other day that had the monsters from a distance burn resources, non-boss enemies regenerate health, and enemies have life steal.

i think it was that combination anyways. i noped the fuck out of that one so hard and it went straight to salvage. even though i think i probably could have pushed through it if i really tried. but come on bro, what kind of fuckery is this? i can deal with all of the nasty affixes, but don't string them all together! maybe if they weighed the xp given based on what mods were rolled it would make me think about it, but right now the risk aint worth the reward when there are so much easier dungeons to run and the loot and xp is exactly the same, just without the extra hassle of dealing with a bunch of annoying dungeon mods that will make me take longer to clear it.

Thankfully the grind is over. Found all the altars, maxed out rep with all the areas then went in and did the WTF dungeon.

I'll leave trying out the Tier 4 content til next week.

Maybe he had no idea what he was doing and put together a garbage build.

If you are really bored DarkHumilty just smacked down MrLlamaSC's "review" of D4.

No surprise the pro speed runner of D2R doesn't like D4 and after playing 200 hours of D4 he's going back to D2R. I prefer D2R to D4 but D4 is still pretty great.

Where do you get these? I'm getting nosebleeds at level 66 in T4. I haven't gotten a single Unique Ancestral, and certainly neither of those, Staff/Helm

the game devs said that there is a higher chance of ancestral drops in nightmare dungeons .. im still in WT3 maybe drop to WT3 and do higher nightmare tier numbers.. i got these at 25+

Anyone up for get a HC rushed to lvl 50ish in 30minutes? I'm wanting to test it out. I'll rush your new character. Lmk or message me in game Hyden#1123

Level 82 Sorc, playing mostly solo (non HC), doing mostly T40+ Nightmare dungeons, just finished my first T50 solo which was stressful as hell since things just randomly one shot you off screen.

Finished 100% of everything in 2 zones and have nothing but a few quests in the other 3 (its a serious pain the a** figuring out what you are missing when there are no (!) indicators in any of the areas, and if you don't remember which of the random drop quests you've done you can spend time farming for something you've already obtained (or think that you just haven't had good luck with the quest drop). I don't even know if you get anything for 100%ing everything but its not worth the extra time tracking down the last few quests as opposed to just spamming nightmare dungeons to level glyphs.

Striderxdj#1264 if you are in Torment and want to group up
