It amazes me that multiple regulars in here want a general training discussion thread, the sports bar has a general sports discussion thread, and Mayberry has a giant thread for "serious movie discussion", yet our mods (who are fairly inactive in here anyways) shut it down.

Anyways, this is my training from yesterday. I only got Push Press in.

Jump Rope + Heavy Bag: 5-10 minutes
Push Press to Overhead Squat: 95 lbs x 5

185 lbs x 3
205 lbs x 2
225 lbs x 1
250 lbs x 1 x 3 sets
*Not so bad considering I haven't been doing this lift lately.

I worded it to sound better than it is. Another translation: I'm close to running into a lot of fails in the next month if I keep at the same rate. I'm really hoping to duplicate last year, and by this time last year I was just getting back into heavy lifting after a weight cut. I spent like 4 months rebuilding a base before I started trying to put up PRs. I'm going to do the same.

*Tougher than expected. First 5 singles beltless, next 5 in my old thin belt, last 5 in my normal belt. Very short rest periods at the beginning that progressively got longer. Alternated over/under hands for the first 9 sets. Tore my left hand up a little bit.
