Oblivian's Adaptations

Any idea what your max chin is on a regular bar? I've done +55 on a regular bar so I figure you should be able to do a lot more than that.

I've always been fairly weak at chins. It's probably my worst lift behind bench. I really have no idea where I'd be on a regular bar though. I'll try to find out this weekend.
 
I've noticed you post your workouts pretty early in the morning. Do you train before work or after and wait til the next morning to post? And great training as always

I lift in the evening after dinner. I pretty much avoid the computer in the evenings since I sit on it all day at work. I just remember what I do and post it in the morning at work.

*Short rest periods. Experimented with not benching on my toes and having my heels to the ground. This gives me less arch, but I feel a bit more stable. Reps were pretty fast. 245 lbs is probably my breaking point where bar speed slows quite a bit.

The final post by Miaou was some extremely S&P related research, that alone should have given the thread about 5 pages of off topic leeway.
 
I was just popping in to check on that thread. I'll go back to rarely clicking on the S+C forum anymore.
 
I'm also disappointed that thread was locked down. I agree that S&C could use a thread for general discussion and "community building".

Maybe we could try starting a thread somewhere in the OT (in the sports bar or the mayberry) and go there for the S&C general discussion. If there is enough interest by the regulars it might work.
