The protection of Obama's family by the secret service cost 1.4 billion per year. I don't know that protecting Trump will cost that much more. Also, expectations are that Trump will cut spending (e.g., the Boeing contract) and hopefully make up for the difference in his policies. We won't know until he implements his policies as president.

How do you know that? Not all first families have necessarily had the same expenditures. For example, Obama's family vacations have cost tax payers in excess of $80 million. Where Bush's vacations exceeded $20 million (even though he logged more vacation days than Obama).

22 weeks of vacation in 8 years isn't even what government workers of that tenure are allowed. After like 10 years of government service you get 5 weeks a year and 10 paid Holidays a year.

So Obama has taken hardly ahy vacation days compared to normal federal employees.

He should of had 280 vacation days of and another 80 holiday days off. He took half of what he should have got.
