I’m up in the Pacific Northwest of the United States- easily the most beautiful and outdoorsy part of our great nation. Despite that I just can’t get into hiking, camping, etc.

Bird watching is legit. You hear them and then get all quiet and slow and try to find the little fuckers with your binoculars. It’s fun as hell

I guess it’s not for everyone. Ever tried backpacking?

Don’t forget purposely stifling every industry with red tape to limit them and straight out blocking pretty much any development.

We have so many natural resources, we could easily be a global superpower. Our own biggest enemy is us. The amount of red tape and BS is unbelievable and a big reason why Canada isn’t a favorable place to do business. That’s why most of our economy relies on a housing bubble, propped up by the worlds highest immigration rates and crushes locals.

Our housing prices have more than doubled in just a decade but our wages have been stagnant. Our dollar has lost almost 40% of its value in that time too. It’s rough up here and morons are still arguing like it’s a partisan issue - no! It’s a both sides issue and we need to get serious about fixing it.

I have a home on the river and a lot of the land I’m talking about is also around a smaller river. I’m not going anywhere, I love my life here. I just wish Canadians would get serious about wanting to improve things. It feels like it’s getting bad here and it’s not going to stop anytime soon.
