I tired of the "average Joe was a CIA assassin all along" troupe.

Rather it literally be just an average guy with no specific skills who goes on a Justice filled rampage due to being upset.

Make him/her a middle school math teacher who was never in the military or intelligence community. Just an upset guy like Falling Down

You only need to get halfway into this trailer to figure out that this is gonna be just horrible. And cringe in every way possible.

The first one worked because they kept the funny and silly parts small and tastefully done.

This looks like a 3/10 movie.

And they tries to get cute with the coregraphy as well.. never a good idea when then star is a old fart without any relevant martial arts or athletic background...

There is a comic book series "Kill or be Killed" that has the similar premise, but with a college student. Just puts on a ski mask and uses a shotgun to kill the Russian mob. I think it started out with a demon saying he needed to kill a person every X amount of time or else.... so he decided to just kill criminals. They also played with the notion of the guy hallucinating the demon or not.

I forgot how much I (surprisingly) liked the first one, just rewatched it on one of the streaming deals tonight.
Hope the sequel is even goofier and more violent.

I thought the first one was just OK. I had high hopes as a big Bob Odenkirk and John Wick fan, but it still felt a little underwhelming to me. Will still check this out at some point though.
