Wasn't interested originally but saw the full trailer and now my interest has increased. It does look like it'll be jam packed, possibly overly jam packed, but hopefully they can balance it out.

Really liking that Nathan Fillion is giving me hope that Green Lantern will get some proper shine finally.

- And it's our favorite douchebag: Guy Gardner. I need a team with him and Grifter. Do we had that already?

''In effect, you illegally entered the country''... still doing this that Superman must follows political rules, to answer to politicians, to Earthlings and gives himself in... and still no Darkseid in a high budget Superman movie. Even if it's a reboot, we don't need a Superman introduction, it can just start with a war with the Darkseid and gives some past flashbacks and that is it.

Honestly same. My one issue is I saw way to many characters. I get nervous when I see that in super hero movies cause it usually leads to an unfocused mess but with that said this looked pretty good. The lex luthor actor is also a good pick. That guy is a great at playing crazy while also acting normal which is exactly how Lex is.
He's on his way to making a case to be the greatest child-actor-turned-adult-actor of all time.

Superman is supposed to be calm and grounded. He’s the guy who stays composed even when the world is falling apart. If words from a reporter are enough to rattle him, he starts looking less like a symbol of strength and more like an insecure teenager who needs validation.

The whole point of Superman is that he doesn’t break. That trailer undermines what makes the character great. Hope it just looks worse because it's out of context but it's not a good sign.

Its a view into the character and mentality of the writers nowadays. Mostly nepo babies with zero life experience outside college who have a mental breakdown if their Starbucks order isnt on time. Thats how they write characters because they cant escape the radius of their own inexperiencet. Thats why conflicts in modern movies often have this petty abusive small minded quality even from "heroes"" (exemplified in she hulk). Someone being in control of his emotions in a stoic way and viewing the world and his actions without emotional distractions is outside of their ability and willingness to create as every movie also has to be a political statement. Basically everything is about themselves. The death of creativity.

Also now a lot of writers are female and even male heroes are written with much more female character traits.

The opposite of that would be writers like Jack London. Look at his life experiences and what kind of characters he was able to write. His Wolf Larsen is such a deeply captivating example and the character arc he wrote for Humphrey van Weyden in his Seawolf.

I’m conflicted with the trailer. It looks silly but could surprise me

The guy that is playing Superman reminds me of Reeves a bit but seems to have a little edge to him which could be a good thing.

I have the same feeling about this movie based on the trailer as I did with first Guardians of the Galaxy movie which I ended up liking a lot.

We shall see

Superman The Animated Series was great. He was perfect in that show.....except for the fact they nerf'd his powers. But his characterization was perfect.
The template is here for both a Clark Kent and Superman

The Lois Lane and Lex Luthor characterizations also nailed their roles

The dumbass Superman v Batman movie could have simply copied the animated World’s Finest and been a success

James Gunn's Superman is tracking for a $154 to $175 million opening weekend in the U.S. I think Batman v Superman holds the record for highest opening weekend for a DC movie with $166 million.

The World Misses Superman and I'm excited to see a Superman that won't let Pa Kent die from a twister

On one hand I think Gunn's doing too much with this movie and I don't think he's going to nail the tone of Superman.

On the other, I tend to really enjoy Gunn's movies.

I am still not over Jack London dying.
