Ramblings about my hips and lifting.
Its still painful. I feel like its getting better, but it seems to take forever!
Still only pain when below parallel. Other movements, such as hip flexion standing doesnt hurt, I think it used too.

I squatted once last week. I did half-squats to the bench. Half squats are gay. But they dont hurt and feel fine.

So my options are these now
1. Dont squat or do any leg work at all.
2. Do half squats on bench
3. Do lunges, step ups and lots of ham/glute work such as RDLs, Stiff deads.

Option 1 seems bad and very boring. I will loose plenty of strength if I do this
My hips will get plenty of rest with this option

Option 2 seems OK, I can do half squats, but people will laugh at me and throw things. :icon_lol: I will reserve most strenght with this option, maybe even gain some. My hips might not get enough rest here and might get worse.

Option 3 seems OK, I might reserve some squat strenght, most likely my squat will be alot worse after not doing it. I might gain some extra quad/ham/glute strenght.

Option 2 seems the best, maybe do it with Madcow. Which means only working up to a set of 5. Which will be a huge reduction in volume compared to sheiko!

Not able to fully activate the glutes, I use alot of ham strenght.
My lower erectors are insanly sore from the DL max.
I have a goal of being a good bencher this year. We'll see how that turns out. Not looking great so far. LOL
