Law No 2A for stoners?

Are they going to look into alcohol abusers? I don't know many stoners who show up at an ex's and shoot them in some weed addled fury.
We know it won't fly with Whiskey Pete Hegseth with the drinking.

There was already a thread, and not surprisingly -- all this article did was spin POV. Funny how their story literally overlaps what I posted 10 days ago. Then you spin it to fit your own narrative talking point, and do the same thing the other thread did. Although, credit for adding no personal thoughts or insights on the cases.

Just look up US vs Hemani for why this story keeps coming up. SCOTUS ruling in US v. Hemani is gonna be a landmark test of the 2nd amendment -- it's all the post Breun shit (look up bruen decision if ya got no idea)

The central CORE question (bullshit) is whether the government can prohibit/deny firearm possession solely because a person is classified as an “unlawful user” of a controlled substance -- or whether the constitution requires evidence of real impairment or immediate danger when the firearm is held. -- It's a slippery fuckin' slope for rights.

If the 5th circuits reasoning holds (in this case), Hemani could establish a clear distinction between conduct and condition -- the government can "penalize" criminal actions or the act of carrying a firearm while intoxicated, but it cant fuckin revoke citizen rights based solely on past/private behavior unrelated to firearm mis-use. (I think I phrased that correctly, lol) -- A decision like that would reinforce what most of us pro-2nd already believe and say every fuckin' day lol....

The right to keep and bear arms is a fundamental individual right -- not some fucking conditional privilege subject to disfavor (bullshit) in Washington. ;)

But yeah, this outcome tells us whether 2nd protects people or only those who fit up the ass of the government definition of the “law-abiding” -- Hopefully it all goes NOWHERE and FAST -- Not really sure what part of "shall not be infringed" these dipshits don't understand in matters like this...

Lookin' at the 925(c) process after three decades is interesting, but that move doesn’t fix the deeper constitutional problem. It still blatantly ignores whether these statutes should even exist in the first place -- or if people should even be prosecuted under them going forward.

It's built on a bullshit argument.

Hopefully, when SCOTUS takes it up, they’ll cut through that "bullshit" and make it clear that his reasoning doesn’t hold water. So, let me clear my throat...

The right to keep and bear arms is a fundamental individual right -- not some fucking conditional privilege subject to disfavor (bullshit) in Washington.

Basically it’s the same persecution of law abiding populations as the last administration.
Albeit Hunter didn’t eat charges for being a drug addict and lying on the 4473 form to obtain a firearm. This Admin stood up and was “supposed” to be more pro 2-A after reelection.
Thanks a ton Bondi. You are shit.
Well they hand picked this case in the same worst possible light type of scenario.
Just like the Garland cases from the last admin; they don’t find reasonable defendants. They pick defendants with cases that paint the gun owner in the worst possible light. Like the POS in this case.
It’s not an accident. It’s not by happenstance. It’s the same continued attack on people just living their lives and harming no one. Perhaps we should all adopt the motto for the state of New Hampshire. If you feel this is an unjust action being taken on by our government then by all means. Donate to organizations that actually fight for the rights of 2-A. Like Gun owners of America.

Na,, come on Belaya! The placement of the comma clearly tells us that the right can, in fact, be infringed.

Genius way to get lefties to suddenly defend the 2nd amendment. After years of passionately promoting gun bans and confiscations and saying "we need common sense gun bans so it's not so easy to buy guns", turns out all it took was threatening to take them away from their core base of drug addicts and terrorists for them to suddenly changed to "from my cold dead hands" and "shall not be infringed".

"Whoa whoa whoa, when we spent years droning on about guns getting into the wrong hands, we just meant law abiding citizens, not drug addicts, gang bangers and terrorists".

I'm sure gunowners.org is a famously lefty site.

How often do you think TS has previously visited gunowners.org? Yiu think she's probably got it bookmarked to stay up to date on gun rights?
I bet she listened to Howard stern every day in the 90’s just to get triggered and write to the FCC. The Trump obsession fits that type of personality.
