Are they going to look into alcohol abusers? I don't know many stoners who show up at an ex's and shoot them in some weed addled fury.

Simple fix is change the law on a federal level.

Democrats dont want to do it because it will make them look pro 2nd amendment to their left the rules the party.

Republicans dont want to do it because enough of the party is still stuck in the "reefer madness " mind set. I thought as my generation aged we would be past that dumb shit. I dont use weed but I'm not worried about anyone that does and has a gun.

America's anti weed stance will never be not crazy to me. Especially with it being legalized in Canada and seeing how much of a non issue it is.

Weed is the perfect drug if you want a pacified population. I got into it briefly in high school and felt like I had no soul after using regularly for a good year. I don’t miss it.

I enjoy the hell out of both of them, and see no issue with partaking of the devil's lettuce and having a firearm. Most folks are far less likely to do harm to anyone when they burn. Bunch of dolts who probably drink all the time and see no issue with that.

While I agree, it is the same as saying "The life of a drunk is not much of a life". You don't have to go overboard with everything. Most people who use THC are not stoners, like most who drink are not drunks.

As a staunch 2nd amendment supporter, I definitely find this troubling. Look at his terrorist sympathies to restrict his gun rights, not pot use. No one can carry or use a firearm in public while under the influence of an intoxicant-even cops. I have disarmed people at bars that were shitfaced and carrying and even charged a few with that particular statute-carrying a firearm under disability(being intoxicated). I don’t care whether it’s alcohol, pot, or anything else that fucks people up.

My issue, is that under the wrong administration, I could see them eventually going after people on prescribed medication such as depression meds that would butcher second amendment rights. I don’t think fuckwit trump admin would do that, but under someone like newsome who would restrict anyone he could for any reason to own a firearm, I could see it being structured under red flag laws-which in some instances, is a good thing to restrict extremely ill people from carrying or owning a firearm. I am talking paranoid schizophrenics-not someone on Zoloft.

Haha yeah, Newsom v the guy who as a convicted felon isn't legally allowed to own a firearm. We live in very up in the air times, friend.
