NINTENDO SWITCH Official Discussion v2: Nintendo's Big Comeback Starter Pack

I mean, it's expected that some launch issues are going to happen with the technology itself, like games crashing and whatnot, but that dock issue is a major one, and they better fix it fast.

Yeesh, Nintendo.
Yeah lol this guy does this for every new console, but again super surprised the dock is so flimsy/cheap and is reported to be scratching the screen of the system

lol that video is hilarious because it's not me.
<9>

To be fair to Nintendo, this is probably a similar number of failed units as just about ever other launch console. Now data is transferred to us instantly due to the internet.

too bad Nintendo stopped releasing Mario titles at console launches

Mario 64 was last one. That hype was insane.

What big games are coming within like 3 months? I'm honestly just curious and don't really count a port of MK8

First post has some games listed, also I expect e3 to have some pretty big announcements...

Ahh, yeah that should be a good one never played the first but watched gameplay looks fun and people seem to like it.

It's going to be Nintendo's next big IP. The first game was incredibly fun and even won best multiplayer in 2015.

"Zelda is selling so well"

It's the only proper game available lol

There are like three games this generation that are actual step ups in quality. Fallout 4, Zelda, and that's all I can think of. So Nintendo having only one isn't a big deal imo. Xbox doesnt really have anything. Other than multiplatform titles.

That's odd, I have Fallout 4 for my playstation 4 but didn't consider it anything special. Each to his own though. Witcher 3 is holding up nicely imo.

I put in 24 days total in my Fallout 4 playthrough, Witcher 3 bored me and i couldn't get into it, to each their own.

Shit, even Fallout 4 is debatable. The only games I can think of this gen that are widely considered a huge upgrade over their predecessors is "The Witcher 3" and....and....okay maybe just that one.

The Watcher took low hanging fruit imo. Fallout at least tried.. But yea what has Microsoft done? A new car game? Gears47? I haven't played Zelda yet but have watched enough of it to see that they are dragging gameplay/immersion forward. Not that any individual thing has never been done, but all together is raising the bar. Other games just aren't doing that.

Gears 4, Forza Horizon 3, Ori and The Blind Forest, Inside are some of my favorite games this gen.

MK8.5 is not a news worthy release or should be a notable release. Switch owners shouldn't have to fork full price for a last gen game with TWO extra battle maps. If a new Mario Kart (i.e 9) game was coming out then I might of considered buying the Switch before Xmas.
But in two years time, if things are still looking bright then I'll get the switch, but right now waiting for my BotW to come in for my WiiU

Yeah if you have a Wiiu, like literally what reason if there to go get a Switch? None right now
