OK... where do I go in my area to find a Switch right now? Oh yeah... there isn't a single place in my city where I can walk into a store, at any random time today, and be GUARANTEED to be able to buy a Switch. So yeah, not that easy and why are you being so feisty about this? We both know the supply of Switches has been choked for some reason : either they wanted to artificially increase the scarcity for pricing reasons, or perhaps they're holding back on mass production and seeing if any changes need to be made and using the current Switch's as somewhat of a "beta-style" test. Who knows, but as it stands most people can't walk into a Best Buy, Gamestop, Wal-Mart, or other store and just pick up a Switch off the shelf.
Edit: glad you can at least be reasonable about the issues with the headset. Things like that are why I use quotation marks when calling it a console. No other current console needs you to utilize your cell phone so you can use a headset for online gaming.
USMC, try checking out or calling first, retail stores on early sunday mornings. I've had switche since launch, but it never failed to see 1 or 2 behind the glass at wal-mart or target. I've heard some stores hold back weekly released stock for Sunday to entice shoppers to come in, and buy other accessories. I'd call Target, Wal-mart, and Toy r us.
