NINTENDO SWITCH Official Discussion v2: Nintendo's Big Comeback Starter Pack

OK... where do I go in my area to find a Switch right now? Oh yeah... there isn't a single place in my city where I can walk into a store, at any random time today, and be GUARANTEED to be able to buy a Switch. So yeah, not that easy and why are you being so feisty about this? We both know the supply of Switches has been choked for some reason : either they wanted to artificially increase the scarcity for pricing reasons, or perhaps they're holding back on mass production and seeing if any changes need to be made and using the current Switch's as somewhat of a "beta-style" test. Who knows, but as it stands most people can't walk into a Best Buy, Gamestop, Wal-Mart, or other store and just pick up a Switch off the shelf.

Edit: glad you can at least be reasonable about the issues with the headset. Things like that are why I use quotation marks when calling it a console. No other current console needs you to utilize your cell phone so you can use a headset for online gaming.

USMC, try checking out or calling first, retail stores on early sunday mornings. I've had switche since launch, but it never failed to see 1 or 2 behind the glass at wal-mart or target. I've heard some stores hold back weekly released stock for Sunday to entice shoppers to come in, and buy other accessories. I'd call Target, Wal-mart, and Toy r us.

Thanks for the advice but this was my point from the very beginning when I started posting in this thread : the availability of the Switch is still not to a level where you can just roll on by Gamestop at any given time and pick one up. Truth be told I'm going to wait it out for a while and see what happens. So far I don't see a new Metroid game coming anytime soon which isn't very great, and the only games I'm interested in since its launch are Zelda and Mario Kart. I'm kind of holding out to see how / when / if a solid amount of 3rd party support embraces the Switch.

I'm thinking of selling mine, Zelda has been boring me greatly. I might wait until after E3 but, even if they announce a Metroid game it won't be out for at least a year. That coupled with no Virtual Console has driven me insane. I want to give them my money.

Nintendo In Competition With Apple for In-Demand Switch Parts

That dumb artificial scarcity rumor really needs to die already. It's NEVER made any sense in any of the times its ever happened.

I have a feeling at E3 we are going to hear about a new Metroid game. I also think they will announce a Smash Bros Deluxe, and/or Yoshi's Wooly World Deluxe / Kirby Deluxe.

I'd love a new Bayonetta game and even a Ninja Gaiden game.

But, I would loooooooooooove if the new Fire Pro Wrestling World game came to the Switch. That would be a dream for me.

It's a great game for family/kids I think. But I couldn't play it by myself. I was astounded to see that there was a "Casual" mode; with two players it's next to impossible to fuck up.

I can agree with this. Game was way easy as hell, but I think it was intentional as it was intended for a kids audience. Was legit fun though no lie.

Looks pretty fucking good, but it still pisses me off that EA changed some things just because. No real reason either since the game can run Frostbite from what I've heard and the removal of the Messi thing was just dumb.

This dude seems like a pretty nice and cool guy, but his reaction videos are so cringe worthy. Super staged and fake. He was the first one on line at Nintendo World in NYC for the Switch, 30 days before the release. That's insane.
