NINTENDO SWITCH Official Discussion v2: Nintendo's Big Comeback Starter Pack

Skyrim was looking much better at this presentation than in the Switch buzz real from the official announcement. The Zelda Amiibo support looks pretty dope with the Master Sword and Hylian Shield.

I will actually probably pick this version up after I passed on the Remasterd stuff for the PS/Xbox. This will give me a nice beefy game to jump into on the Switch I can play when I don't have the TV or when on travel. Zelda has been great, but I'm a little worn out after like 200 hours.

Come on VC!!

yeah I am double dipping with skyrim. Although in theory I don't know if I will end up playing it as much. but hey.. wtf... I want a collection of games ready on the go to fit my mood.

I haven't touched Zelda in a while as well but I am burned out at 200+ hours too. I am missing one fuckin' shrine so I will eventually go back and snag that one. after that just waiting for the hard mode to drop and then start a fresh campaign... will take one nice and slow and be more thorough with the game.

I want to like Skyrim, I really do, but from what I've seen my friends playing the combat looked like absolute garbage and it seems like the game is meant to be played in first person, which I cannot stand. Doubt I'll get it, even though I am curious.

I'm the same way with BotW right now, logged in over 220 hours and I'm still missing 6 side quests. Going to wait until the first DLC is released which should bring back the spark and make me play more. My biggest hype right now is for Splatoon 2, it looks SO good and it only another month away! Hoping for some more info tomorrow during E3.

My biggest hope is an official Virtual Console reveal and release. And even though it won't happen I'd love to see a hockey game on the Switch.

You should check out the Ubisoft vids, they brought some gameplay of the new Mario + Rabbids crossover. Way different than what I expected, but looks pretty fun. It looks more like a Mario cross over with X-Com.

I'll check it out when I get a chance but I hate those Rabbid things, don't know if I'll be able to overcome that.
 
Is anyone getting ARMS this week? It's looking more and more intriguing as I watch impressions.

I think i'll be picking it up. It looks like a ton of fun. I'd get it for $48 with Amazon Prime, so why not give it a shot?

Funny thing is I haven't played a sports game in years!!! but with the switch I am finding myself wanting to play sports game. sports games are the type of games that are easily played on the go. I am already getting FIFA and wouldn't mind getting an NBA and/or NHL game. It's been a long while since Ive led my Flyers to a NHL championship... lol

Maybe look into NBA Playgrounds. It's a really fun game. The only gripe I would say is the resolution isn't too great. It's a little blurry in handheld mode. Other than that it's a blast. Like NBA Jam from the 90s

I have it already and I've played a few games already.. I like it but I need to do some research on how to properly dunk and shoot better. there's a timing that I am not getting so I am seeing some dunks fail (a lot)... it's not as easy as NBA Jam which I loved..

once I figure it out i'll hunt for the allen Iverson card...

Metroid Prime 4, Mario Odyssey sooner than I expected, new Pokemon... Not bad, Nintendo.
