I'm presenting this to you, because I'm asking you. I will address the $25 cable part in one word: Unnecessary. None of that is required.
But the reason why I ask how is that any different from any other console, is because I don't believe it is. Let's compare the Switch to it's current competitors at launch, shall we?
The PS4 MSRP was $399.99. The retail launch titles were as follows:
Angry Birds Star Wars*
Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag*
Battlefield 4 *
Call of Duty: Ghosts*
FIFA 14*
Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition*
Just Dance 2014*
Killzone Shadow Fall
Knack
LEGO: Marvel Super Heroes*
Madden NFL 25*
NBA 2K14*
NBA Live 14*
Need for Speed: Rivals*
Skylanders Swap Force*
So for the 15 retail titles, only two (2) were exclusive to the PS4: Killzone: Shadow Fall and Knack. In that regard, folks were spending $100 more just to play those two titles. So in that regard, nope you're not paying more for less on the Switch.
While were' at it, let's look at the Xbox One at launch. The MSRP for the Xbox One was $499.99. The retail launch titles were as follows:
Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag*
Battlefield 4*
Call of Duty: Ghosts*
Dead Rising 3
FIFA 14*
Fighter Within
Forza Motorsport 5
Just Dance 2014*
LEGO Marvel Super Heroes*
Madden NFL 25*
NBA 2K14*
NBA Live 14*
Need for Speed: Rivals*
Ryse: Son of Rome
Skylanders: Swap Force*
Zoo Tycoon*
Zumba Fitness: World Party
So for the 17 titles, five (5) of them were exclusive to the Xbox One: Dead Rising 3, Fighter Within, Forza Motorsport 5, Rise: Son of Rome and Zumba Fitness: World Party. Considering that I could get DR3 and Ryse on PC also, there was only Fighter Within, Forza and Zumba Fitness as reasons to pick the console up at launch. In that regard, folks were spending $200 more just to play those 3 titles. Again, you're not paying more for less on the Switch.
But both have great libraries and huge numbers of exclusives now, right? Sure they do. But in that regard, I can easily say that the Switch library will have more reasons to own it four years from now. It's best to compare the systems at launch. In that regard, there isn't that huge of a difference. I'm saying that from a content and price standpoint. In either comparison, the Switch and LoZ: Breath of the Wild costs less.
Now unless you have something factual to point me to in order to help support your position, I can't agree with you.
