b) People haven't really been impressed with the 3D stuff

I never understood why sonic games were fun for people... not my kind of game I guess..
 
Decide to buy it, and seemingly sold out everywhere. Any tips for Canada stores? Maybe Toys R Us, The Source? Trying to think of nob-obvious places.

There are two versions of sonic coming out, a 2D version and a 3D version for both old school and new school crowds.

In fact Sega brought in Christian Whitehead to work on the 2D version, in a bow to acknowledge that they were out of touch with their 2D origins...

Pokemon Developer Seems to Be Making a Switch Game

The developer of the mainline Pokemon series, Game Freak has released several recruitment adverts for a console game, described as a globally popular RPG.

Reported by Siliconera (and corroborated by our own translation), an advert for a 3D CG designer calls for someone to work on "characters, monsters and items" for "a title that everyone knows".

The advert specifically says that this this is a console title. while a second job listing (for a character model creator) specifies someone with experience of creating models up to "Wii U / PS Vita-level".

Ideally this will come out sooner than later, but to keep momentum through the summer months hopefully they unveil something around E3. If they were smart this would have been in development for some time so people arn't waiting years for a proper console Pokemon game. Not really into these games, but hot damn does Pokemon move unites.

Nintendo for Nintendo exclusives

What I don't understand is that most (if not all) Nintendo in here playing other systems too. And yet some people feel the need to pigeonhole gamers into a type of fanboy/fangirl because they really enjoy a game/system.

I am a nerd so that being the case i follow a lot of gaming news/coverage online, and can tell you from my experience i see 10x more hate for Xbox and Sony (especially Xbox) than for Nintendo. So it gets kind of old, like when there are obvious things than any neutral person would understand Nintendo deserves to be criticized for, Nintendo fanboys just defend it. Shit like getting no 3rd party games, they just say eh those games aren't even that good. Like really? You'd rather have less options for games? No, no you wouldn't.

And i don't hate Nintendo, Gamecube was one of my favorite systems, i just feel they shouldn't get a pass when they fuck up because sure as shit the other companies don't, people STILL shit on Xbox for the reveal event of it, 3 years ago, Sony got shit for the Pro being pretty much worthless and pointless.

I own both a PS4 and X1 right now, I'd like to own a Switch eventually but right now it seems like a $400 Zelda machine so I'm gonna wait.

If you like CONSOLE A...in spite of the hate it receives...great; you shouldn't let the hate of said console hurt your feelings.

People have their bias views regardless.

Personally, I am fond of games on each system, but I'm also into retro gaming, so...Nintendo OWNS.
