it’s not. pure conjecture from TS. He just forgot to write, “I think that” in his title. If this is true, its a big mistake to make the boxing bout first, he would get a life-altering beating from Wilder in boxing
I think bob sapp did one of these years ago. Alternating rounds of kickboxing and mma. Big bob pretended like he couldn’t get his mma gloves on or off or something to try and edge things in his favor if I recall correctlyWhy not MMA and boxing fight AT THE SAME TIME, both rule sets together

It only makes sense. The wait till after the boxing match, the minimum purse for opponent(high level boxers won't fight for Reebok coupons), deontay wilder saying he would be open to fighting Francis in boxing & MMA.
The fights will be Francis vs Wilder 1 & 2
You should qualify that. You mean no active rich boxer would be dumb enough to fight a MMA fight right? No boxer besides James Toney is dumb enough to fight a real sanctioned MMA fight. ZERO
ZERO?
Ray Mercer and Tim Sylvia disagree. No boxer besides James Toney is dumb enough to fight a real sanctioned MMA fight. ZERO
why not have it be bare knuckle boxing so they can have some middle ground? Probably the only issue is bareknuckle boxing is being seen as a low brow yokel sport? Its almost the bottom of the barrel low porn
Dillian Whyte has fought in MMA. I think he is a plausible candidate.
Whyte is probably the best candidate for fighting Ngannou. and i think Ngannou has a decent chance against him in boxing. all he's gotta do is throw an uppercut <Lmaoo>I'm thinking Dillian Whyte also. 2 million might be too low for Wilder but for Whyte it sounds about right. Hes also a high name boxer but not in the range of Fury, Joshua or Wilder.
Whyte did say he was interested. Maybe the other poster is correct that they maybe need to cough up another million or two to get Whyte interested. If not, how does Ruiz, Parker or even Big Bang or Joyce sound? Least likely would be Joyce since hes not likely in the mood to take a fight after the loss to Zhang. I could see Zhang taking it given that hes 40 which is about the age to retire soonWhyte is probably the best candidate for fighting Ngannou. and i think Ngannou has a decent chance against him in boxing. all he's gotta do is throw an uppercut <Lmaoo>
nah but seriously i think Whyte is a winnable fight in boxing for Ngannou. far more winnable than AJ, Fury or Wilder.
A fast and brutal KO and be life changing. Especially when it's from someone like Wilder.Nah. He will get KO'D fast.
Wilder like: “Yeah, let’s do one boxing and one MMA.”
“Boxing first though…”
Ruiz - maybe Ngannou has a chance. so far Ruiz has shown a good chin so not too sure. he's also got really fast hands for a big guy; he could land a combination on the inside that Ngannou wouldnt see coming. Parker would be able to box and move, tire Ngannou out and get a TKO. Zhang and Joyce would put a beatdown on that ass.Whyte did say he was interested.
