Ngannou is rumored to become an MMA free agent at some point this year, he should return to the UFC

Yes, they are saying his contract included a termination date clause, meaning it will end at a specified date which may be coming up soon.

Love it or hate it, Ngannou really got the sweetest deal possible out of PFL.
Te be honest, PFL probably cant wait for it to happen, his next MMA fight is allegedly contracted for 12 million guaranteed, unless Saudi are willing to lose money again it wont happen.

Only if fighters get health insurance and are allowed to box. Surely a man of principle wouldn't come back to the UFC and change nothing about the sport.
I'm not sure why an employee of a billion dollar company can't get health insurance. Fucking starbucks gives health insurance

They will bring him back if the Saudis want it. Dana is not calling these shots anymore. They are taking this over and he is a swollen figure head.

no way he returns, dana called him a scumbag and slandered him publicly and ngannou also shit talked dana on twitter, dana's not letting him come back out of spite
Business is business. I think Dana would take him back if the price $ is right.

Not gonna happen him and the UFC have made it clear they dislike each other and Dana has trashed Francis

This is the only chance we'll ever have at us getting Francis vs Tom/Jon. Dana is an absolute IDIOT if he doesn't put his pettiness aside and try and pick Francis back up. A move like that would put life back into the HW division which it desperately needs.

Stop laughing at PFL Africa.

PFL Africa can works but not in all countries.

Senegal has the most potential, Morroco a bit.

Most african countries are shitholes, civil wars, terrorisms, extreme poverty, insecurity, not all but a big part of them.

There are rivals in europe, like ksw, octagon, and medium organization in middle east in those oil countries. There is yet no big organization in Africa, and the MMA scene is growing slowly there, it's not a bad bet.

Yeah this post-UFC life isn't working out too well for him it would seem. One fight in the org he was supposed to become the poster boy of and he's already potentially leaving? And that's already after taking time to go get KOd in boxing while being signed to the PFL.
I think his post UFC life has worked out pretty well. He got the money and fights he was looking for.

Damn he's only had 1 PFL fight and already free soon? What a rip off for PFL.

Anyways I think it makes sense for Ngannou to return to UFC.

Boxing is out of big fights they can sell Ngannou in besides Wilder who is already considered washed up.

PFL has no real HWs for Ngannou, they couldn't even find a guy with a ground game in their 1st fight. Also burning so much cash to pay him, when there isn't much return.

Meanwhile UFC has Jones, Aspinall, and Pavlovich or others better than anything PFL can put up.

Ngannou is going to make most money in UFC now. UFC will probably get him cheaper than last negotiations and Ngannou gets to milk the last bit of his career.

Personally I think Ngannou's knees are fucked so his last bouts will all be to cash out. He still hits hard but I bet he loses to either Aspinall or Jones at this point.

If Dana didn't make so many of his decisions based on his emotional state. The smart thing to do would be to leverage Francis into the stalled Jones pay negotiations.

"Ok, you won't fight Aspinal for anything under 15 million, we'll just re-sign Francis, strip you and return his belt to unify with Tom"
Jones glazers would be triggered.

I think it worked out great, 2 massive paydays in Boxing making more money each than all his UFC fights combined and an easy fight in the PFL.

Again, Dana is an emotional man who holds personal grudges but any sober minded fight promoter would now try to get Francis back for at least one UFC superfight, now that Francis got the boxing itch out of him.

The UFC HW division has been in shambles since Francis left.

but why? he's not a draw proven by his boxing and PFL ppv numbers. they're already burying him, i think the easiest call is to just keep burying him because it's working lol.

for me and you, yes, it would be good for him to come and fight Tom/Jon, but for the UFC that's just more work with a diva who already fucked them once when like i said, their smear campaign is either working OR nobody gave a fuck about Ngannou in the first place.

I don’t think it makes sense for contracted employees to be able to box on the side.. I mean it’s splitting one chin between two sports that are bad for it..

oh b, I agree. Devalues your own product and promotion as well. Ngannou lost a lot of shine getting floored by Joshua in the second round. He did not belong in there with him.

Tom also has a fucked knee. Jon has a fucked pec and fucked elbow. What's your point?
