Ngannou is rumored to become an MMA free agent at some point this year, he should return to the UFC

Tom vs Gane. Looks bad since Jones beat him quick

Dana and Francis made it personal. I don't think he's comming back. Francis went after the whole UFC and everything they are.

Pfl not even wanting to book him again ? A lot of money for minimal return.

Who is the winner. Francis.
Loser - UFC competition.
Nobody cares about gane after that Jones fight. FRAUD ✔️

Lol imagine Franc fighting for Dana for a couple hundred K

😂 😂 😂

The UFC can’t afford Franc at this point.

I’d be surprised if he fought in PFL again. He simply doesn’t need MMA anymore.

Taking out the belt bullshit, I believe UFC needs Francis more than he needs them at this point. The Heavyweight division is arguably the weakest/shallow division in the UFC when it should be the strongest. Dana needs tp put his ego away and being the best talent possible in regardless of the personal shit.
If Francis were younger, sure. He is too old now, tail end of his career

I'd expect Francis UFC gloves to be drenched in piss when he receives them during fight week if he fight for the UFC again.

What do you mean not need MMA anymore though? His boxing prospects dried up quite heavily after getting starched.

I meant to say he doesn’t really need to fight, period. If he boxed, it would be for pleasure more so than necessity. I agree, there doesn’t appear to be any more mega fights on the table.

If he'd signed his Champs contract he would've been making $4m a fight for Gane and Stipe 2 and then $8m for Jones.

PFL will go bankrupt if they have pay him to fight again, last event made a huge loss and I don't think anyone's lining up to give him another huge boxing payday, if he's lucky he might get Wilder but that's about it.

Hopefully he's smart with his money, he's made enough the last few years.

I think it worked out great, 2 massive paydays in Boxing making more money each than all his UFC fights combined and an easy fight in the PFL.

Again, Dana is an emotional man who holds personal grudges but any sober minded fight promoter would now try to get Francis back for at least one UFC superfight, now that Francis got the boxing itch out of him.

The UFC HW division has been in shambles since Francis left.
I got guys telling me that UFC ppv numbers are way down.

Dana will send a low ball offer and then tell everyone Francis doesn’t wanna fight the best

If Ngannou makes a return Jon will magically cut down to LHW or stay retired and let Ngannou and Tom fight. I literally don’t understand Jon glazers, he’s a fucking pussy.

I don't think would take him back, at this point. He's not gonna work for peanuts, he's pushing 40, made mms look bad by getting flat lined by a boxer, and if he beats Jones, makes mms look even more second-tier.

Yeah this post-UFC life isn't working out too well for him it would seem. One fight in the org he was supposed to become the poster boy of and he's already potentially leaving? And that's already after taking time to go get KOd in boxing while being signed to the PFL.

He's made stacks of cash though.

PFL is victim to the greatest con job ever in combat sports. Paid milions of dollars for one fight that didn't even sell well while he wasted his contract with boxing, all that while losing value after getting KO'd stiff. And people ask why Dana didn't let him box in his contract.
Francis is not worth what he think he does, but the PFL bought it.
PFL should contact DOGE about waste fraud and abuse.

PFL had a bad seal

1 fight in 3 years

Ngannou is done anyway, his KO he suffered against AJ was bad.

He lied, and conned his way into the hearts of the rubes, and the weak in here.

I posted over, and over, ad infinitum. Pointing out every lie he ever told, in public. And also where he was a lowlife. Hard to work with.. That’s probably why EVERY MMA org of substance (ONE, RIZIN, Bellator). As well as the BKFC. Said he was delusional, and nobody wanted anything to do with him.

He was literally asking for OWNERSHIP stakes, and a seat on the BOARD of these orgs.

He’s a walking, talking, POS. Tried to play Robin Hood. Except he never took from the rich to give to the poor. He only cares about HIMSELF.

That pretty much says it all.

And another thing on the topic. Considering where Francis wanted to go with his career and his intentions and how things played out with PFL. The UFC dodged a bullet with him and its good he left. Francis would have been the ultimate head ache to deal with and it would have been problem after problem.

And that is why the UFC did the right thing in not giving in to his demands and treating him like every other fighter. He would have been a nightmare to deal with. UFC dodged big problems with this guy.

So much bad commentary about Ngannou, Gane, and the rest.

FFS, we watch guys like Marcin freakin' Tybura week in, week out, I don't give a shit about any of the context, if there's a chance to see fighters like Ngannou and Gane then I'm definitely all in.

Do we just forget how mediocre the UFC heavyweight division is when we start talking about Francis being too old or Gane getting exposed lmao

Big issue is a guy like Conor is as bad or prolly worse than Ngannou, but at least till his last fight, the UFC knew after all the bullshit he would bring massive wads of cash. Ngannou is as difficult to deal but wasn't that much of a draw. For me, the choice was easy. Sucks for us as viewers, but easy option for the company.
