NFL Discussion: Draft Day 2 "Your can team still sucks"

Know something super depressing?

IF I had played in middle school and high school I would most likely have at least walked on at WSU. I was 6'4" and like 350lbs as a senior in high school. I woulda been a DT and probably OL in high school.

IF I didn't fuck myself up with injuries and shit in high school/college I MIGHT have been simply on size and strength with a D1 strength and conditioning system been strong enough to have MAYBE gotten picked like 5th round or undrafted free agency... in the same class with like Fletcher Cox, Poe, and Daniels.

FUCK ME. If only I could go back in time to when I was in elementary school and tell my fat fuck self back then to play ball.

EDIT:
I know, there's a ton of 'ifs' in that but fuck me. I went to high school with Jake Locker so even if scouts were there to see him they'd have seen me too a bit.

He completely denies it, and multiple teams said injuries werent a concern AND the Cowboys did another medical check on him yesterday morning before drafting him...I think it's ok.

I also think Aikman hit it on the head "Josh Allen was not an accurate QB in college, and from my experience...that's not something that players get better at in the pro's so it's going to be a struggle for him"

It's funny, your love for Allen while completely hating Paxton Lynch. I mean, at least I was a Memphis homer and that's why I liked Lynch.

the issue is Josh Allen is incredibly intelligent and he has arm talent for days. If you can get him a proper coach he has the chance to be HOF.

37 Wonderlic for Allen

18 for Lynch

First they came for the crotch-grabbers and I did nothing.

What a great first round.

No idea why anyone would care what a 21 year old was tweeting 5 years ago.
I was just posting it because it was somewhat funny. But teams do care, Rosen was getting shit from stuff he did as a Freshmen

Wonderlic =/= Understanding football

How many great QB's have low Wonderlic scores?

Jim Kelly, Terry Bradshaw, and Dan Marino

Checkmate kid
Who has the highest score? Ryan Fitzpatrick? I'm not saying you want a clown that can't sign his own name. I'm saying high scores don't mean that much in regards to understanding football.

Wonderlic determines how well you can break a problem down and solve it. It's great for things like picking up the nickel in a substitution and how to deal with it.

No, Wonderlic isn't the end all be all but it is definitely important to be talented and have the ability to break down problems.

Lamar Jackson is a retard with zero footwork. The kid has no chance and it's a shame. Josh Allen is a smart kid with tons of arm talent.

Paxton Lynch is like Lamar Jackson.

Who would you consider the best at breaking down a defense in the NFL? I will go with Drew Brees who scored a 28. Who is really bad at reading a defense and leads to throwing INTs? Ryan Fitzpatrick - 48. Blaine Gabbert - 42. Highest active QB wonderlic scores.

I think a basic problem that QBs face and have to "solve" is reading a blitz and where to go with the ball. Josh Allen's QB rating in that scenario is like 70. The other 3 Qbs in the top 10 all had 100-130+ Qb ratings in that scenario.

Things like this would worry me. He's young and maybe he had shit coaching, but he hasn't played like the smartest QB in the draft.

FUCK jerry jones and garrett puppet ass. Wasted ROmo and witten's career

If arm talent you mean strong arm, yeah, ok. He isn't accurate. Accuracy is more important than arm strength. I will be very surprised if Allen ever makes a pro bowl. Plus he is in Buffalo......ooofff........
