That Ryan contract seems like a big gamble for Atlanta.

I admitted he was overpaid - They have an abundance of money they won't spend this year/next year, they got in a bidding war with other teams (Jets), and Shanny fell in love with his skill set.

Oh well. The time of long-term fiscal conservatism is over and big money short-term deals is in.

Plus I think the team will be in good hands with Garoppolo. I've been following him since college and the kid is a natural born leader. Has a calm confidence about him very much like Aaron Rodgers. And he has the slickest release I've ever seen.
