It was his longest completion but it clearly was a bad pass. He definitely didn't play to his normal standard but he turned into Wilson/Mahomes in the 4th and got it done by making the plays he needed to make with his arm and running for the rest.

The stats may say something different but it looked to me like Goff had all day to pass on the vast majority of his pass plays while Purdy was under pressure most of the time.

It's called the zone read. Quicker passes are generally happening in that style of offense. Idk who this Wilson fellow is, maybe you watched football 4 years ago and that's your reference point.

The Lions have a good offensive line. So do the 49ers. The 49ers are weaker on the right side, its not terrible. It's like Packer fans bitching about a top 10 oline because it isn't top 1.

In the same place that shows how Paschal's briefly high-fiving Purdy was responsible for his only turnover. That disruption wasn't really his fault.

Aiyuk ran into the defender, who impeded his progress, which is why they initially flew a flag on the play. I don't know why they took it away. If he hadn't, the ball was perfectly thrown with Aiyuk's stride. It was a risky pass, since the defender was there, but it wasn't a badly thrown ball.

Basic Ass Brock is on to the Super Bowl. Lamar was really flashy, impressed everyone by catching his own bad pass bounced off a defender that never should have been thrown so low, a disruption that was his fault, and he's gone fishing.

They were running for over 10 yards per carry and he had all day to throw. 9ers finally got pressure in the second half and he finally missed some passes. Yeah I watched Wilson beat the Niners for years using a similar skillset that I saw Purdy employ in the 4th.

Nearly every stat I've seen all season long has had the Niners in the bottom half of the league when it comes to pass blocking. PFF has the Lions as the #2 rated offensive line in the league. It's not like we're taking about two top 5 rated lines.

The Niners line can run block but they can't pass block outside of Trent Williams.
