No, as you've been illiterate over the past month, you're looking at statistics topside down looking for confirmation bias. He didn't lead them to shit. He got a good chunk of the yardage off a completely fluke play. He did well when he used his legs to gain yardage, and that's good play. That's not indicative of good QB play, or why he's getting unwarranted praise as a top QB in the league. When you throw out throwing statistics but have to back it up with rushing yards you unironically don't see the problem with the previous analysis.
The team had 27 points in the second half. Brock didn't lead shit. He almost threw key possessions away multiple times. Now I don't expect every bad ball to be intercepted, but that's another factor you can't account for. Sometimes things break your way, sometimes they don't. That's not indicative of him being a top QB either. He didn't put the ball in perfect positions and it showed. He still lacks arm strength and he still throws off his back foot into coverage. Luckily for him, he has elite weapons everywhere so he doesn't need to play perfect.
As my previous post stated, he's a whiter version of Tua. We've seen Shanahan have success with Jimmy G, Nick Mullins, etc. When he had elite level talents, like RG3 and Cousins, he thrived even with dead receivers or dead o-lines. This is a Shanahan system success. Not a Purdy success.
You can't with a straight face, tell me that Purdy is somehow better than Josh Allen or even Matthew Stafford. You can't say with a straight face he's better than Jared Goff, despite the result last night.
