New Theme to Fix Layout Issues is Available

I had the dark since the change, so nothing new here for me. But I don't mind it, I'm use to it now.

Been using the DARK version since forever but everything looks smoother now.
Thank you @Kowboy On Sherdog !

That is much better indeed.

How has it taken this long to sort this "update" out?

I dont know anything about this stuff but you'd think with how many people use sherdog, the advertising revenue lost would result in a much timelier fix.

Or maybe the data shows we knuckledragging sherdogers aren't put off enough by it to stay off sherdog in any meaningful way. I mean, here I am whining about it to nobody in particular

It's true, I don't understand the context and you don't intend to share. I maintain it's an ez fix to repair styles on the order of a few man hours for a competent web dev.
It was shared. It was on display on every page. The platform made changes to the host, so all forums that had modifications, like Sherdog which was especially modified, were broken at the source. That's not as simple as "Well, let's just ctrl+z"

Based on your reply, you don't understand the issue. In software development, if structured correctly, it's as ez as "ctrl+z" to rollback a bad release or change a bad dependency. It sounds like you're saying sherdog doesn't know how to run or deploy a website. Which is fine. It's expensive and nuanced.

SD 2025-Dark is now up and workable for a better Sherdog Experience. (Change Theme at the bottom of the page.)

This is a Temp Theme to hammer out some of the major issues while the final product is being finished.

We apologize for the inconvenience that the recent update has caused and thank you for your patience while the forum is continued to be worked on.

*** If you continue to run into site errors ... please post them here and they'll be passed on to Administration.

Don´t let sherdog die. I been on here since I was 18, so soon it´s 20 years. I can even sort of prove it and cite the banned account, I remember one of them <lol><sniper>. But it´s so extremely cringe. Imagine some angry 18 year old balkan kid who can´t speak english arguing why Miro Crocop is the best even and Fedor isn´t. Lol.

Glad to see you working on it. Thought this site will really die. Hope it never does. I usee it 99% from mobile and I just gotten used to it sucking. Like I post a message and it doesn´t display the message, I need to refresh the page to see it. Logging on sometimes takes 10 tries. Sometimes it doesn´t evne log in. Whatever I´m here till Jesus calls our name lol.

Yah, it's only taken about a month to get to a not completely retarded state.

Tell the work experience kids you had working on this, they did good... eventually.

They didn't do the release so they can't do the rollback.

Things were already standing just fine on a structure that already existed, then the structure got knocked down from under them. They can't just go "Whoop, I guess this new addition didn't work" because they didn't add it.

If you are the creator of a mod for a video game, but then the video game patches something that breaks how your mod works, then you have to do a bunch of new fixes, not rrollback. If you made changes to the mod that break, then yeah, we're in rollback territory, but that's not the case here. Same concept applies.

Whatever you say. You describe an array of issues created by pure ignorance. Sounds like somehow sherdog exists without anyone who knows how to operate software.

I've just changed to Xenforo Default Theme and it's fantastic. It's better than the original black and orange one. Did not know this was possible.
You are correct. That light theme Xenforo Default Theme is hella beautiful. My eyes are simply used to Sherdog being in dark mode, so I'll continue using a darker theme SD2025-DARK; if it wasn't for that, I'd use Xenforo Default Theme for sure.

We raid Xenforo's headquarters
Heh. How about just making sure that modifications are fully documented when made and that the documentation is maintained - kudos if this was already being done. I can't tell you how much easier transitioning to a new computer would be each time I do it if I properly documented my customizations to my computer and software.

I'll add that most of the time the problem with an "upgrade" breaking a heavily modified base state is that modifications don't work with a base "upgrade" when it's implemented, but sometimes the problem is that mods conflict with each other in an innocuous, overlooked way until a base "upgrade," whereupon they conflict with each other in new and horrifying ways. In this case mod documentation can be particularly helpful.

It's not what I say. It's what has been said, but you just can't pay attention.

Including one more of it's users, apparently. Walk off, bitch
You clearly don't understand how this works. I'll try to help even though you're rude.

When you create software, you don't reinvent the wheel. Every problem has been solved mostly. You integrate libraries or external dependencies to solve problems. The skill in software development is integrating and maintaining dependencies without sinking the whole ship.

If there's a dependency that can break the site, that's a huge red flag and obvious proof of lack of engineering skill.

It looks like it's meant for mobile but generally it's better it has HUGE black bars on the left and right not sure why
